I have 12 little babes and 2x 600 watt HPS space is no problem i have the corner of a room which can be extended. I am worried about air exchange if i get another 600 light SO Would it be worth moving the lights a little each day? so as to give even light to all the plants. I am told that a 600 watt HPS will do 4 plants so what would you do?
thanks

Are your plants in a tent? You should go by the light manufacturer recommended coverage area. Also you have to keep in mind how big the strains your growing will get.

I have a corner of a room 2 sides have reflective sheets on the wall and i have another panel which i move to water them.
I am growing think different and dark devil. My question is if i move the two 600 watt lights every day, a bit to the left then a bit to the right will it be worth it. I have read that a 600 watt HPS is good for 4 plants.
I germinated 12 because i have lost a few in the past (am still a newbie) this time i got all 12! and i don,t want to ditch 4 healthy plants.
thanks

If I was you I would move the light between the ends. You could be the light mover or better yet buy a light rail.

I have used a light rail in the past with excellent repeatable results If your going to move the light yourself I suggest to give each section a equal amount of overhead light time per day.

Ideally you want a carbon filter then you could vent the warm air and no one will be the wiser.

I use carbon and vent into the next room to keep the warmth.

thank you, i live a couple of storys up so with both windows cracked open, plus the balcony door its no problem with smell. So if i move the lights each day, 2 x600 watts HPS i.e. every 24 hours so that each plant gets the same amount of light during the 3 months i should be ok? Or just concentrate on 4 plants per light.
I am curious how the yield will be affected.

I myself would share the light hours threw out the day but others switch the light every week.

Whats important is giving them equal high noon time.
You may want to use all of your light power once the plants are larger or in flower.

Thank you, at the moment they are on 400 watts, I will jack it up to 600 in a couple of weeks. I think I will shift the lights every 24 hours.
I will get a picture up and maybe I may get some more feed back.

You might get more feedback , most people tend to read and fuck off haha.
I know I have a journal going with very little action on it lol , people read it good enough.

You should post a photo it may well attract a few comments , not everyone can help.
