Does anybody use a water reservoir and is it worth it?
Instead of mixing nutes frequently I wanted to do it all in a big bucket to save some time.
I went to the hydro store and the guy recommended a 13 g bucket , pump, air stone, and a hose I can turn on and off to water my plants. Kind of questioning it now though so curious if anybody has water stored like this or any advice.

Thank you

If u wanna be on your knees the whole time your growing and changing your water then u can do it that way. Its a pain in the ass honestly. Use a resivor and water pump and the air pump . the circulation makes a difference

I was going to figure out to change my water every 2 weeks. I'm switching to a nutrient line that's an all in one bottle but the parts per Gallon change every 2 weeks. Hhhmmm [emoji848]

A single bucket with no circualion but air I dunno if I would leave it two weeks myself. u can go longer if u have a resivor

It'll need an air pump and airstone to oxegenate the water. Two weeks is a so a long time to let it sit. If you mix in your nutes on day 1, by day 14, even if you didn't use it to feed your plants, your ppm will go up just due to evap. So by using it to feed your plants, your gonna end up with your mix getting stronger and stronger. I certainly wouldn't do it without daily checking ppm and pH.

I too have thought about a resoviour, but wouldn't it only work if all the buckets were the same strain? I'd assume different strains together may not work due to taking in nutes differently than one another..?

As long as you were running a basic mix you'd probably get away with it, the bigger problem would be start times, and different timing of flowering. Some would need this and some would need that. It really comes down to how much you want to maximize your ladies, cannabis is quite tolerant of changes, just look were it grows wild. But getting the plant to give everything she's got requires much more attention to the little things.

I'm going to try some "skunkwerks" , the all in one bottle. So if I was to stick to this route I could feed whatever plants I started at same since the parts per liter changes after a week, 2 weeks, then 4 and only one bottle is needed. Probably not worth it though for the amount of plants I'm doing, only 4 at the moment
