Mephisto Genetics Walter White, Organic Super Soil, 3.9G Autopot with Airdome

Did you germinate in the TP roll of seed starter mix and the roll was in the pot?
No, the tp roll was to support a hole in the center of top layer. I removed the tp roll and filled the hole with seed starter mix. I soaked the seed 24 hours, then planted directly into the seed starter portion of the pot. She rose 2 days later. Hope that helps.

Have you ever germed in a solo cup instead and then dropped the solo cup in the autopot? Or do you always germ in the final pot?

I have germed in a starter cup once recently, turned out fine. As long as your timing is right, which I'd say is day 9-14. I just prefer starting in final pot, one less stress for a young seedling, and I'm lazy.

Day 14 update

So I fired up the airdome yesterday around 10 am, day 15 I believe. Impressive growth since. I also moved her into the tent with better lighting, 3x3 with 6 Vero 29 (3500k) driven at around 260w. Huge upgrade to the 30w cob she was under. She looks absolutely perfect at the mo, can't really find any flaws at all. Guess I need more time to eff this one up. :crying:

Do you leave the air on 24/7? I use to but someone here convinced me (chastised me) that it would be better to cycle them with the lights.

Yes they share a timer with the lights. I too was told its not necessary, doubt it hurts them though.
