Nutrients Waira's next photo' op' with Biotabs!

:pass: delays, delays,... internet went wonky yesterday,...

>>> FD, the whole persistence of expression of autoflowering is very interesting,.. wish I knew more about the genetic "mechanics" of it all,... I recall Cres mentioning something about this, that once the rudi' genes/expression mechanism are in there, it's almost impossible to breed then out,... I've heard a little about reverse engineering auto's to photo's, but haven't seem much for results. Sweet Tommy said during his interview that some of their auto's are now down to low single digit % rudi' genes! What I don't know is if they have back-crossed any photo's in there once the auto expression is locked in,.. figuring likely not, only when they're breeding early on for truer phenotype(s) to a parent,.. they sure succeeded with Green Poison!
 nice root shots mate! A-T'-- yes, that perimeter wrapping, and the apparent lower root density inward,... I think it's in part something the plant "knows" not to do, overbuild the mass closer in, instead pushing, seeking outward,...hence the wrapping effect, and the greater density along the edges,... Also noted, when I inspect my root masses from my fabric pots after harvest, they are much more evenly root packed all the way to the edges, freakin' solid too! -- I get near chopstick-thick roots sometimes breaking the surface... I believe this air-pruning effect makes the root branch out laterally more, while terminating at the tips exposed to the air,...the entire point of fabric pots I believe, and given what I see in results, I see zero reason to use plastic in my size limiting applications,...can't beat them for O2 access! FD, try some 1-2 gal fabric pots sometime,.. I dislike the airpots because of the tendency to leak water out the sides, especially if they get dry patches,.. then you have to use some wetting agent to help break that repellency and rehydrate evenly,....they have nothing on fabric pots either, for O2 access,...
:woohoo1: Peyote Purple! Dude, you'll make magic with those :wiz:... A-T', did we talk about PP earlier? That's the Bubba K' IBL selected for deep purple color from CannaBioGen,...

I ran some 1 cubic foot cloth pots for my peppers over the winter. They were amazing, and i will use them again once i make the F3 for a " bed of seedlings" they are roughly 7 gallons of soil and the difference that i got with them over the solid wall pots were the elimination of the side wall root system. It was one of the most intrigate fine haired systems that i got. I really wish that i would have taken pics of it. Was something to see really and i wish i could describe it, just never get any of those big roots i get nothing but the fine feeder ones that do all the uptake.

:headbang: Transplant time tomorrow my friends! none too soon, some are showing some N defc., despite a couple feedings- happened very fucking fast, like overnight! So, I'll have new stuff tomorrow, and catch up then,...

Uh-oh...caught with yer pants down! Its amazing how fast deficiencies can come...fortunately they are usually easy to correct!

OH hey...you can always stop by my thread if you need a cream caramel fix(not the fast version but the regular). So far i am ultra impressed with sweet in general. Cream caramel looks like she is gonna be a great plant.

:eek1: tell me about it GS! .... pH seemed to have drifted up some, very damn odd,.. they had 2 light feedings too, and this soil is mild, but hardly flat,... First feed with dilute Orgatrex triggered a little N-twitches too...

>> EoF, ditto! :smoking: ...these girls are very fragrant already, quite a bit of stank off a few in fact! ...a hint of good things to come I hope,...

:headbang: :woohoo1: :headbang: Alright, I got 7 girls in their new digs today! :greenthumb:

I picked up some SNS-209 (Rosemary plant extract) after seeing that you are using it for insect control.

Can you tell us how you are using it, your regimen? How do you apply/dose it? I plan to use both normal and Transport-mediated foliar feeding for quickly having my plants (now 20+ days) build up a good residual level. When do you stop maintenance dosing? Or do you go to 'cleanse' or harvest, presuming that SNS-209 is just some terpenes from a different plant? Do harvested buds acquire any aroma from SNS-209 use?
