Waira puckers up for more KIS's with auto & photo ladiez!

Can't wait to see this! :)
:toke: Hey Tad, my bad, forgot to tag ya!
...soil for the photo's is mixed and cooking :greenthumb:I found some perfect 5gal pots to use as starters before jumping to 10er's.
I don't want the 5's to get too tapped out beforehand either, so the plan is to feed a bit a few weeks ahead of transplanting to keep the "core" in good supply before going into fresh soil in the 10's... The idea here is to prevent the mess that happened last time with early depletion... And to help keep size down, no more 6-7' root cramped ladies!
Second batch of soil for the transplanting step into bloom stage may need some tinkering... My thoughts are to reduce the KIS a bit and use something with more PK in it? It's the P I'm after mainly, K I can cover with other stuff. I saw a couple products that looked suitable in NPK#'s and other nutes (not just straight guano, etc.).. What do you think?

Here here!! :yeahthat:.... I've not bought anything from a dispensary in years...

:cuss::doh:.....coming up on week 3 here, and it's official: Runt City in the tent!
kickdirt.gif

Most likely as suspected, the cooler T's and wide fluctuations bogged them down,... HBSS and S99 are going into bloom right on cue, no doubt White Crack isn't far behind... Zam' might veg' longer I hope!
That fucking space heater is dogshit, the thermostat was iffy before, but it's seems worse this time... Temp spread is about low 60's to 90 according to the min/max readings! ....it looks like I need to piss some $ away and get another unit.... I swear I've seen mini versions of radiant dish space heaters?
So now that this round is TARFU, no worries about space, I think I'll get some photo's for a couple friends started and out of my hair before I start mine.... Then see about tucking a couple more auto's in there!

Yup, a lil runty @Waira , but couldn’t be healthier. Ya might see a good amount of stretch with HBSS. They really like the retooled KiS mix heading into flower.
The new light’s distance might be adding to the shorter stature? S99 v6 isn’t a big plant, usually.
Been thinking about little space heaters. The tube things look like a possibility. I’ll watch to see whatcha cough up hard earned scratch for a heat source.

Re. the heater, I use a small ceramic element/ fan heater mounted at the ceiling of my growdrobe, and control it with an Inkbird temperature controller. That way, I just leave the heater thermostat turned all the way up to keep the it out of the picture. Works perfectly, and I can put the Inkbird sensor wherever I want in the growdrobe. The Inkbird keeps temperature variation within a couple degrees C.

Oops, almost forgot - if you use an inkbird for controlling a space heater, you may need to turn the wattage down to stay inside the amperage limit. I just keep mine on the low setting which keeps it at ~750 watts which is well within the tolerance of the inkbird and more than enough power to keep my 2x4 at temp. You could also go for the PID design Inkbird which with a solid state relay will handle anything you want to throw at it.

Good luck with it. :goodluck:

If these are runty, that is all I have grown so far. Happy plants is an understatement.:pighug:

shades of green, on the money! :bighug:
..coming out short-changed mate!

tell me about it= :baghead: I wonder if I hallucinated adding the damn KIS in altogether! You know, others didn't react this poorly, but with all 4 doing it- :nono:
I'm wondering the same BC', that light being new to me,..but it's plenty far away I think, 20+"....less now of course...*sigh* - fuck!
well at least I know the mix isn't too hot this time
I need to chat with our goodman @Olderfart here about that control unit! Take that thermostat out of the equation and let the InkBird take over,...
mate, which model do you have? The ITC 308S? or 308 no S, what's the diff?.... it looks the most straightforward, no need for WiFi really... And having no cooling hooked to it doesn't mess with it's head?
This space heater runs on low at 750w -.... ideally, it'd be off totally all day, just operating at night when it's cool, lights on and off... Thanks for the info too BTW!

These are the two controllers that I have experience with, either would work. The PID controller model that I show is the one with a solid state relay that could handle higher amperage if you need it. I use it for my rosin press and my decarb oven. The non-PID unit is what controls temp. in my growdrobe.

Both of these require you to do your own wiring which is not difficult, but not everyone's cuppa. The 308S unit that you linked to is functionally identical to the non-PID unit above, but does not require any wiring. It is limited to 10 amps, unlike the PID unit. In any case, you can ignore the presence of a cooling function. The controller may switch to cooling when the temperature goes above the set point, but that does nothing other than close a relay connected to nothing, and heating control kicks back in when temperature drops.

I have been using Inkbird controllers for maybe five years now, in both 12 and 110 volt systems, and have had not one hiccup from them. In my opinion, these controllers are one of the best bargains out there if you need temperature control. I imagine that their RH controllers are just as good, but I have no experience with them.

Hit me with more questions if I can help. :pighug:
