Waira gets photo' KIS'ed

RM is gorgeous ! Going to be some deep purple buds. Soil spent.... pretty big plants. Onto the bloom support. My photos have been getting Roots Terp Tea Bloom for a couple weeks along with Recharge. Looks like a water only set up isn’t gonna do it... even in 10 gallons, but it was nice while it lasted.
Something about that pineapple too.
:passit: hey luv! Yes, she's fixing to color up deeply I think, I was actually hoping for the redder pheno', but this might be the deep inky purple,... we'll see...
What I really want is less pale/yellow! I don't want this to screw up the buds, and low pH locks out P, timing could not be WORSE :wall:... Slight improvement today, major foliar done to hold off the worst of it, but the correction is not coming easy, still in the 5's!
I'm actually using the Rx Blend nutes now because it's readily available, the rest are feasting on Terp Tea :greenthumb:
Yeah, it was indeed nice while it lasted- :rofl:, and they did fantastic up 'til now, so I'm satisfied enough,.... "water only", it's a myth to me! Only way I can see that working out is with transplants... The catch is if you start out using a larger pot to get the larger reservoir of nutes, the plant is simply going to get bigger in kind, right? Puts you right back in the same boat,... transplanting at or near transition may be do-able, but I worry that the N content will be too much?
Top dressing might be the ticket as well, and I may mix a quickie batch to cook and top off... But the PK elevation still needs to be an input of some kind....

I forgot to get pics of Pineapples cool leaves, the margin points are long and curled, double dentate too...
I'm with you BC, she's my Huckleberry this grow! :kiss:... I dig her interesting lighter waxy green color too... Her shape is fun, but I'm concerned about too many tops, side buds on those petite willowy branches, so I'll be nipping more bits off to make for fewer, fatter buds (I hope)... Mischa got back to me, pretty much what I figured; not much info from the breeder, USA cultivars are not always so "stable",... Ed Rosenthal Superbud (which Pineapple is a pheno' of) is a mad puree' of genetics, truly a world-wide plant, so that makes some sense,...
Did you see my friends PA? ... you'd never guess they were the same cultivar visually!

Sorry to here about the stubborn 1 but they all look great and on a side note water only is possible but you really have to plan well the pic below is exactly that with a teaspoon of roots organic sea bird guano 0-12-0 and terp tea same teaspoon added to top of soil @ wk4 of flower the initial soil had a bit to much nitrogen but now I know this is a 3gal fabric pot flower initiated @ day 28

really enjoy tour threads keep up the great work it's very appreciated all u do.

:drool: Oh man, that girl is juicy mate! :d5:
...yup, first run is always a steeper learning curve,... For a while the soil was boderline too hot, so initial dosage is figured out, but I had to see how well it lasted without "help" beyond the other supp's I used (Si, humic-fulvic, inoculant, KCl, micronutes)... Next time I'll be in better fettle, particularly at transition!
Cheers and thanks Fitzy :cheers:

~~~{{{ Week 11 update }}}~~~
:woohoo1:Week 11 for the girls! ...The whole crew is in bloom now, Ice Cool the last to show....
I have two more pots going sideways on pH, acidic :cuss:...they are all tapped out now, too much plant, too little pot for the KIS amended "water only" gig... I fed them Terp Tea Bloom (Roots Org. product), but it wasn't acting fast enough so I started using the Rx Blend leftovers.... They got foliars too, which helped some,...Then a heat wave hit, so some stronger than desired dry-outs and the introduction of partly synthetic nutes must have triggered this shit- :doh:... Fixed Red Mandarine and F99 x BLR, but a Pineapple and Ice Cool are acting up now, dammit!
As a result, some color fade and fan snacking (major P defc. symptoms, locked out) has happened... I'll get on the foliars again ASAP, when this fucking freak-ass heat wave pisses off finally!
A top dressing of unused KIS soil on RM helped a lot, but that's the end of that batch, I'm speed cooking a little more to top dress the rest...
Now wasn't strawberry amnesia a bit slower in veg ? That could be the case also I've noticed sativa ish haze crosses being very easy going nute wise till mid late flower then need a bit more either way they still look plenty good bud and I'm excited they have a great frame so they should do very well. Also if you don't mind sharing how did you use the terp tea ?
:pass: hey Fitzy -
Actually, SA was a week younger than the rest, so it may have seemed that way... I'm impressed with her performance so far. She grew pretty fast after going into the KIS soil, and she was one of the plants that didn't show any signs of hot soil ( much to my surprise, and currently isn't showing defc. or pH troubles. Despite the longer bloom time listed for her, she's ahead of Ice Cool and forming crowns fast now - :thumbsup:
I need a good showing from Dinafem on this one, last year they were not-OK duds, PAK and Orange Juice....
The Terp Tea I water in, since they grind it powder fine it can penetrate well into the soil,...but I think it's time to try it as an aerated tea, with some other goodies :eyebrows:
:smoking: ....and the tent auto's!
This soil blend was still too hot, even though I cut the photo's KIS soil about 25% with regular soil,.... live and learn! Interesting to see how differently these three cultivars reacted to it. I would have bet the HP CBD would have been the more touchy of the lot, but not so,... Nashira with some tip burn, Green Poison with the tip claws, HP seems fine...:shrug:
That right it was a wk behind and ya that's wat I do with it is make a tea 24hrs bubbling then the solid leftovers I divide up and put @ base of soil to water in for it to break down further which has worked well in both bloom and grow, I would like to try the grow terp tea, have u used it before?
I ran it last year, getting away from the Megacrop and trying to go more organic for bloom, when it matters most IMO,... I'm happy with this product, 3-7-4, a nice balance, pretty complete in nute profile....
MC is good for veg', but it's inferior for blooming from what I see... If you cut MC down and swap in a bloom booster, you lose the other vital goodies since their booster is just PK mainly, nothing else,... Sweet Candy formula has been messed with so much, it's now VERY K heavy, along with the rest of their line-up, and that can cause antagonistic uptake/burn problems easily,... it's good by itself for a finishing treat in late bloom, amino's, K and S, all good for terp's!
