Sorry about the low sunlight in Denmark. Dutch Passion has some awesome seeds though that run in them type of conditions really well. All you got to do is add a little bit of artificial light to extend your daylight. And adding the far red LEDs in the 680-780 NM range will help your plant to stretch. And then using the UV lights to help keep your powdery mildew and fungus at bay. will help you to grow a nice crop.OMG good lord, I have never seen hybrid grows like this. :O Wish the sun was out more then 1 hour in denmark. xD
Oh well! Will try to watch again, do you know any books from Bugbee if there is any articles to recommend?
I'm sorry I don't know of any of his books. But on YouTube he has a whole series of videos on his test results also with class studies as well from Utah State University and the plant biology labs.
I see you're growing in pots.I love seein folks doin outdoor spaces with artificial light. This is my hybrid space 12x24’ and I had two 1000w de HPS and two LEC 630’s goin all night and natural Colorado sun during the day. I pulled 11+ lbs in under 70 Days in 84.5 sq ft and it was all fire ad(mostly cause it was all Mephisto lol) I was able to get right at 350 g’s per m2 357 actually lol. I am doing a smaller version now at only 8x12’ to see if I can replicate those results, as I plan to start making an all in one hybrid space that is literally all included and virtually fool proof. This is the bug space when it was rockin. I am goin to watch these videos for sure as I live the sciency things. View attachment 1203680
I found to get the bigger plants. Need the bigger the pot. So I went straight in the ground with my pots and split the sides of the pots open so that the roots could get out into the Super hybrid composted soil...it's all natural.
18 inches of soil that I made over the last 6 years of composting.
So I dug out a 14 X 24 area and back filled it all in with 18 inch plus of composted soil. Then put paper over top of all that and then wood chips over top the wood chips. To create a fungal wood chip Garden.
I practice light deprivation.
I flipped this year's crop on May 28th and on schedule to harvest by the 28th of July. I'm sliding my second crop in this weekend of 5 extra plants that I've been growing in my basement... they're very big. To put them in the grow cage with what little bit of space I have left. those should Harvest by August 10th. I don't like to go any further than that into the grow season because I live here in town and too many people know when to harvest cannabis and then you got the Rippers. I had one jump my fence last year but I had already harvested and they missed out luckily.
I start all my plants inside and let them grow fairly big in some cases before I set them out side I don't usually care too much about getting them used to the Sun. As I found a lot of times it doesn't really matter. Since I've been doing this for like the last six or seven years I've only lost one or two plants hasn't been a big deal.. I use a clear tarp over top of the grow cage when I first set the plants out so there's amount of shading probably at 20%. The terp that I used also allows all the UV rays to go through. So it's a non- UV blocking clear tarp. I only use this tarp in the colder weather. As I plant in on 4/20 if possible. This year I was in the ground on 4/23 with this first crop.
These pics are all of my 2020 outside grow this year
Pretty much in progression from the time I put the plants in the ground until this morning with the bud pics at the end
I do a foliar spray in veg sometimes twice a day depending on the weather if it's not raining everyday at least once in the morning time preferably I rarely spray anything or add any moisture to the crop at night due to fears of fungus...
Happy growing
