New Grower Very first plant approaching harvest!

Good plan. In your first post you said that your are using OF on you big plant. Did you add anything to it? What soil are you using on your other plants? Are you getting the same pH results with both soils

I didn't add anything to it with this plant, a few plants later I switched to mixing 40% Ocean Forest, 40% Happy Frog, 20% perlite. Then I top dress with a layer of perlite. I tested it with my standard ph pen, putting a sample in a cup, and making a mud pie out of ph 7.0 RO water. This resulted in 6.72, so I'm pretty happy with it, and everything looks healthy and growing great in it. I'm thinking now that my low ph is coming not adjusting my nutrient water when I feed. The combination of nutrients drop the water down to 4.5 - 5.0. After a month and a half of not adjusting this, my soil ph has dropped dramatically. I'm thinking that the flush will help out a lot. Lesson learned: check and adjust PH!

Yep that will do it. yep check and adjust what goes in. Or switch to AN pH perfect nutes. I don't check pH of what goes in anymore. I just monitor the soil pH
