Grow Room Ventilation from 2x2 tent into room

Hi @Ken Green :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:The room your tent is in is called the "lung room". Under ideal circumstances you want to keep the lung room ~ 68°F with RH ~ 40% when the plants are 3 or more weeks old. This will give you good numbers in the tent with proper ventilation ~78°F day and ~ 68°F night with RH 40% to 60%. You will need to play around with venting, cooling, heating, humidifying and dehumidifying the lung room. It will change with the seasons. There is no one size fits all. Just be careful with humidity as a closed lung room will soon be too wet. It is a learning adventure. Have fun!

:goodluck:
That's very useful to know! Thank you @Mañ'O'Green :thanks:

Also, for the carbon filter to be effective all tent air should pass through it on it's journey to the lung room, at a low velocity so the carbon has time to capture oder particles...
IE, keep the tent closed and get a fan controller ...
Wife complains when I "forget" to zip the tent.
Thank you @Bill.de.Cat I purposely got a fan which is more than I really need, so I can dial it down for that purpose and also to reduce noise. Plus If I upgrade the tent in the future, I won't need to buy new a new fan or light.
