  • Day 17

    Res change day. Per gallon:
    5ml Sensi Bloom A&B
    5ml CalMag
    5ml Silica Blast
    2ml Hydroguard

Plants bouncing back from having their big fan leaves pruned, and the one-legged girl doesn't seem to notice that she's broken. Whew.

We enjoyed some nice scissor hash and named them. You can tell we were toasted.

My better half was less than amused at our stupidity, which made it funnier, and now they've stuck.

Plant on the left is very much ready to come down. Leaves are yellowing all over, and plenty of amber trichromes popping up. Pictures don't show how many yellowing leaves are really there. Might have to hang-dry her because the fridge is packed. Plant on the right - Rondell - has another week at least.

Topped again at fourth node on each plant, cleaned up large fan leaves. You can see a random growth tip coming off the broken side of #2 - I have no idea where its coming from because it appears to be growing from where the cotyledon was, not the first node that was cut off.

You can also see where I almost broke #3, and how gnarly their stems are. Silica blast works, that's for sure!

First Grow Complete - Day 80 - HG WW x California Snow Auto
  • The two remaining plants came down yesterday, at 80 days.

Rondell, who was ridiculously bushy the entire grow no matter how much I defoliated him, gave 14oz wet weight. He had issues the entire grow, slowing down and then having all sorts of minor nutrient issues.

Alfred, who cane out very different than the other three in phenotype expression, gave 17oz wet weight. Would have been much more, but a bit of bud on the lower parts of the branches - especially where light penetration was less than optimal - were kind of airy and less dense than the rest of the harvest and all of that got frozen for hash or butter later. I still have 5# of VERY strong butter from the first two plants.

Nothing the last two days. I will do some LST tonight and then be pretty much away from home the next three days (got three back to back 17hr shifts, bleh).

Flower tent got sanitized and the new system from PA Hydroponics got installed. Waiting on some bulkheads and a pump for the res chiller coming Wednesday and it'll be up and running.

First Grow - First Yield - HG WW x California Snow Auto
  • First two plants dried. Accidentally got down to 55%. Don't mind the containers, I was out of canning jars and wanted to throw a hygrometer in and check them. I will put the bud in a large paper bag with a couple Boveda 62% packs and invert another bag on top for a day, recheck, and they will be bagged in @Grove Bags for curing. I got a bunch in today and am super excited to try them out!

After I hadn't checked on them in two days because of work...

And moved into their new home:
PA Hydroponics Fallponics Mini with a 1/10hp chiller at 68 degrees.
All got a little bit of a trim, too!

The downside is that the silica blast early on made these have really strong, thick branches. They have no flex in them and LST might not be a possibility at this point without breaking branches - they're all at least as thick as a Sharpie marker.

I'll just grow them as they are, and we shall see.

Also, started four Linda Seeds Somango Auto soaking this morning - should be ready to go into the propagator this time tomorrow and those will be Grow #3.

Let's keep this party going. :smoking:
