Those bags are marked as 25L but when you empty them, fluff them up and measure they are 18-19 L each. Thats 168L short over 24 bags, I have complained and the sales manager is going to sort it out next week.

There was a cane toad hibernating in my compost pile... we don't take kindly to them, do we @hecno lol

Yeah I am trying to build up a living soil food web in these pots so mulch is imperative to attract and harbor critters, prevent mositure loss, helps prevent compaction from heavy rain and adds organic material to the soil as the critters & microbes break it down. I use a "green" mulch, even though it looks brown , it was long green grass so it's considered "green" mulch that contain sugars so it helps promote bacterially dominant soil that MJ prefers. Gro-kashi ? no I haven't, is that a manufactured bokashi mix ?

It's a probiotic fertilizer that feeds the soil and plant but it helped create probiotics for the stuff feeding the plant to keep feeding the plant. Grokashi.com they have it and talk about it but trying to find someone that uses it is hard to find. That's a cool process you have though, next year when I do my outside garden again I'll try your green mulch system!

Cool, I like the fact that company says they will share their knowledge so people can make their own stuff. I am nearly bottle free with the exception of some seasol I have left over from last year lol, that will be gone in the next week and from then on i will be making my own stuff, AACTs, FPEs, sprout enzyme teas, etc.

If you're going to have living soil in your outdoor garden next year, mulch is necessary. Just make sure your mulch isn't too wet, check it to make sure O2 can circulate to the soil surface, check it doesn't go mushy on the bottom, that will turn anaerobic and yukky real quick.

Yeah you don't want your roots rooting! I'll definitely watch what your plants do and how they grow! Should be pretty cool not having to buy any nutes or strong chemicals!
