Indoor Vapo's Dizfunctional Dinafem Diary.

....The containers will be 3.8ltr root pouches and coco/perlite mix, got some new coco from a company called Blue Staffs....they claim that they bag your coco up the day you order(?)....I have the Spiritwalker in it now.......it seems,muddier?...than other coco I have used before and the feed takes longer to penetrate to the bottom, also it has compacted like f**k......so much so that when I pot these girls up, I am gonna mix extra and top off the Spiritwalker because they are just moving into last week of veg feed....and I want to see if the(newly covered)main stem section shoots out more roots as they move over.....the Spiritwalker girls seem to love the muddier coco tho so no complaints......looking forward to seeing how the BK handle the training.....stay safe Budlady...:bighug::pass:

Is the coco rinsed and buffered?

Rinsed and buffered by me, yes.....I always rinse the coco with the shower until clear water comes out the bottom of the root pouch.....:d5:

Haha, that's how I rinse mine, too. In cloth pots in the shower.
Buffering? I don't have regular Cal Mag, so use high my high Ca / Mg Peters hydro mix.
Soak for 24 hrs then rinse the hell out of it again.

Hola AFN.....little one's are settling in nicely, I know the coco looks dry, but I am letting the roots go out and look for water/nutes a bit.....helps with creating a big root base(dnq).....I'm sure I read somewhere lol....

when you do this how long do you wait to plant a seed or transplant ? or do you just go straight into the wet coco

...I plant the root riot straight in dude, then I water heavily with ph6 water with Cal-Mag in, then its normal cycle dude.....:headbang:

OH OH OH HERE WE GO....things are looking well for the two BK.....I have made a couple of schoolboy errors....I topped off the pots with a bit more coco/perlite.....I rinsed it....put it straight on(No.1)and then quickly fed them(No.2)....they will be ready for topping soon.....
No.1 mistake......should have rinsed it with ph6 and calmag AT LEAST before adding it.....
No.2 mistake......should have taken my time BAH!.....stupid iiiiiidiot me forgot to f**king ph the feed......
....I have fed again today with correct values, I hope their youth and the quick rinse have not affected them.......
