Hello all........as you may have noticed, the BCN is sat in a cardboard pot then in a plastic pot. I got these card pots ages ago as an easy alternative to the transplant where you take the medium out the pot!...I posted and was told that they had been tried and the seedling ended up root bound, as it couldnt break thru the card!....so I poked a couple holes in the btm of this one, and hoped to gently peel the card pot away, at transplant time....Boosh!!! Top idea!!...
.until i looked today and saw the roots had grown thru the pot haha
...so now im going to cut slits in the side like @912GreenSkell does, bury it and hope it works as well as it does for him

Thanks for the advice dudeI would be careful cutting slits in those!! Would hate for you to damage fragile roots!! Those are peat pots correct? If i was you, when i would go to plant i would take a knife exterior of the pot to help with penetration.
sry dude....they are peat plugs in coco/perlite mix, then in the cardboard pots......I would be careful cutting slits in those!! Would hate for you to damage fragile roots!! Those are peat pots correct? If i was you, when i would go to plant i would take a knife and score the exterior of the pot to help with penetration.
