Hello fellows

my first grow, setup my tent today, with the brand new inline fan, burning when it was turned on :( and i can't get another one where i live

i germinated 4 seeds auto northern lights, only 2 popped, i placed them in peatmoss based soil + perlite
my question is should i turn the lights on now (veg) i'm using viaperspectra 900w, i put it at 44 inch distance, the plants didn't break the surface yet as i just put them in their pots, any advice would be much appreciate it, the lights are on atm, and if anyone can point me to a chart, as the companies chart is different from what everyone else is saying.

I used to run 2 Viparspectra v600's. The veg and boom switches don't give a major difference. I always ran lights on full throughout the entire grow.
44" seems a bit high. These aren't as powerful as the Samsung diode lights like quantum boards.
I'd drop the light to between 24-30", turn them on now (they'll have light as soon as they surface then) and let them grow towards it with both switches on. Once they're over 10-14 days old, aim to keep them 18-24" from the light. I've had them touching before without any burn.
Good luck

alright thanks alot :), i dropped the light to 30 inches, though how many times should i mist them during the day, and it will take i guess few days for them to sprout

I've never foliar fed so I couldn't advise on that, sorry.
From my past experience I normally see the cotledon's 2-3 days after planting but some have been up to a week later.

good advice @Chronic_ passion  ,,,

shoudnt need to be misting now,,,if you got a clear plastic cup or the top of a drinks bottle place it over seed site to create a wee mini green house ,will keep moisture and rh up for when it pops it head up ,,

later if you want to foliar feed ,,,do it with lights out or out of direct lighttill dry,

yes this is my setup, the tiny fan is off for now, the inline fan had funny smell and stopped working when turned on, but now it's working, but it's off worried i'll burn it if turned on, i put plastic bottle tops on seed area as adviced, the light is 900w viaspectra

The switches make a huge diffrence.when u try veg with these lights on full power.ur girls are gna stretch and very wide node spacing.and not grow properly.its like they try bloom.from the start.thats what happend to me.on first grow using vipers.dont need red for veg iv learned and so true..blue and white just the veg switch is all u need for veg.compact tight node spacing and proper plant growth.did my second grow with just veg switch and my plants grew bigger and normal just as I was used to.hope this helps.happy growing every1;)
