Hello Afn
I was thinking about all the time it takes me to keep water in tank for 24h to gas off. the water in my area is very good and we drink it so how bad can it be for my girl? it will save me a lot of time....:coffee::smoking:

As long as it's not running through a water softner it should be fine.Just make sure you keep your ph correct.

Thanks namvet you re a stable value In Afn I did not know about softeners are bad I used them sometimes instead of waiting for water to gas off.
Thanks man:smoking:

I will attest to not using water going thru a softener ,my first few indoor grows had problems out the a$$ ,and I even tried switching from sodium chloride pellets ( 3$ for 40 lbs)to potassium chloride pellets( 35$ for 40lbs) and all I had was issues, get it from the outside spigot now.its a pain sometimes in the snow and sub zero temps but the plants like it better..a few things come to mind is that my ppm of my tap water is about 230 which is not too bad,but should be added to the final ppm/EC numbers..and letting it off-gas helps get rid of the chlorine which is bad for the beneficial bacteria...just my thought tho ..peace

Are you talking well water, city water? If city water do you know what they put in it?
Yes its city water but one of the best in the world we drink it since ever. Its normal to put chlorine when they clean it, the amounts are of no significance.:greenthumb:

city water no problem but you must let it sit for a few days before use and ph it at runtime

Not all city water is created equal..... The city website will usually tell you what they put in it and at what ppm.

I don't have chlorine in the water here..But you're saying the o2 is beneficial in itself ? Would it be effective with organic soil?
Been thinking of setting up a bubble bucket for teas.
