Lighting updated LED's?

2 of my cheap Chinese leds broke the company was unreal sent me the parts to repair my light when I wasn't able to do it myself the offered to repair and ship for free but my plants need light asap they let me keep lights and shipped me 2 massive 450w leds to help got 25 oz of 3 autos with said shit lights.
Quality is an issue. You can buy cheap. Shop at Walmart. Chinese made items are often of poor quality and getting support is tough. I pay more for customer service, warranty, and of course being an American... I like that my light was made in Austin. I'm not selling anything. I'm testing a light out.

There's a lot of great info so far here on this thread, but I can give you a REAL WORLD opinion. I just made the switch to LED from HPS. I tested all types of lights on the market because I had the cash and wanted to set myself up for the future with a light that is no fuss, looking for value and most important, it needs to grow good plants.
I decided to run a grow with the same strain on different lights.

Comparison Cree COB 3000k(built by PDgrow)- Cree COB 3500k(2 single units)- QB( a Chinese QB knockoff, but built with great parts and two 150w Meanwell drivers), - 600w blurple by Bestva.

Results

Best flowers came from the Cree COB 3500k and the QB knockoff. The 3000k was a close second, and the blurple was last. They all grew decent plants that made over 100 grams each, but the two in first place grew plants over 200 grams each. They both only cost around $200 each approx. so you can grow great plants without having to invest massive amounts of money on lights.

If you want brand specifics, PM me. Good luck! Spend wisely.
