Indoor Unhappy first time grower

Great! My seedlings just got a watering the other the day with some of the superthrive mixed in. I have 10 regular BHD's on the way as well as 5 fem Super Cali Haze seeds. Attitude doesn't sell regular SCH seeds. Hope I have better luck with those. My seedlings are 7 days old today. Should I give them a feeding in the next day or two even if they're not showing signs of needing it?

I dunno abt the promix... but superthrive (I think) is almost def a nute... and that could do it... I would think femmed seeds would have yielded a few fems at least though... strange

yes... or even wait to 9 or 10 days if you're even slightly concerned... the key is don't overdo it.... like cutting a piece of wood... always trim down to size... or in this case trim nutrient levels up if needed.
Super Cali is bred by *Stitch* I believe... a great breeder! they will kick ass, no doubt! Another advantage is this strain is so long to harvest 90-120 days i believe that it cxan be cloned fairly easily..

BHD's are also a killer strain.. super desne and a rockin high with a full body stone and great med effect. also, I believe one of the less sensitive strains.

you will undoubtedly be happy with both!

Just checked my last hopeful plant and it too is a male. So out of 6 planted "fem" seeds 1 didn't germ and 5 are males. Hopefully my 5 seedlings will restore my faith. Honestly, has this ever happened to any of you guys?

not from femmed seeds! never! always had femmed seeds end up fem.... sorry to hear bro... get you HBD's and Super Cali's rocking... and stay easy on the ferts initially...

It happens, I reckon you have just been unlucky. Sounds as though you are doing all the right things. I have a perpetual grow, and occasionally I get a batch of seeds that just don't co-operate.

Well my luck is slightly better with this run of these Seedsmen seeds. One of the Blues is showing definate signs of being female while I had to get rid of yet another of the Kush due to being male So that's 3 male Kush plants out of 4 planted fem seeds. Still waiting for one to show sex.

On a lighter note, I received my BHD's and Super Cali Haze seeds this past Friday and planted them today. It was a pack of 10 regular seeds so hopefully I'll have a good female to male ratio. Wish me luck!

Thanks John. Checked on them today and the other Blue is definately male. But the Great White is definately female. Just waiting for the last Kush to show sign (which is a good thing I think) and waiting for the BHD's to pop.

I've never grown fem seeds before, only reg m/f, but it seems to me that if 3/4 fems are males and there's no problems with the others, fems or otherwise, i'd blame it on the seed. Unfortunately, not all seeds are created equal. keep it green and growing :thumbs: i wish you the best of luck
