Afghan1 is on day 62, with the rest of the elders not far behind. The two Stardawgs a few weeks behind. Now it's a case of gettin the chop timing right All the elder plants have been on ph'd water only since last monday

Hello crew. Hope you're well out there!? Well i finally got round to getting a cool tube. Went for the lumii aerotube. They come across as a pretty solid company... Worked a treat so far, allows to me too blast onto 600wboost whilst keeping the temps good.

Im having serious trouble getting a reading of the trichs, tried the loupe, a clip on phone microscope and another micrscope thing - all of which were shite!
Most of the elders are around the 80 day mark, all had cleanse started 3 weeks ago - just ph'd water. Total newb question, but im not at risk of the plants going bad, with age, am I? Im after a deeper medicinal effect and am in no rush too chop. Lemme know what you guy think from the pics please @jingo @budelee @RamboGarden @Dudeski @Root gonna head over the med section soon

Looks great buddy! That critical looks like she have alot of trichomes.
The white things on the fan-leaf looks like dry nutrients.. but as i have never got mildew on a leaf before i cant really give you a 100% correct answer.
Throw up a pic in the sick plant, infirmary section if you dont get an response here.

Overall i think you are doing awesome.

I don't think you have any powdery mildew going on that one leaf, if you do it will be spread all over by the time you read this.

I don't bother to use loops on trichomes anymore when I'm trying to determine if my plant is mature or not. Instead what I do is I watch the pistils and the calix's. The pistils will grow out of a calyx and they will be all white at first as the plant matures that calyx will swell up real big and the pistil will die back turning brown. As the pistil dies back and the calyx swells your bud gets real fat and heavy and starts to flop over. So I harvest when I have maximum calyx swelling and maximum pistils dying back.

It's possible you may have started your flush a little bit early for your goals. I can't really tell for sure close up pictures of those buds would help decide. There is a lot of controversy about the need for a flush I personally do 3 days because that's recommended with my general hydroponics nutrients. But there's a good write-up on here by pop 22 about why you don't need to flush at all. Anyway, if you want to flush in the future I would wait until your bud start to flop over and get kind of heavy. That's usually when I start.

Another thing with Autos is they will often just stop drinking when they get to the end of their life and if you find a plant slowing down then you know you're getting towards the end and you might as well flush it out if that's what you want to do.

Excellent. Thanks a lot @RamboGarden & @jingo just got myself another magnifier today. Not overly expecting much out of it anyways gotta few dark shots. Im normally kipping when its lights out.

For sure I started the cleanse early, and yeh does seem to be many conflicting reports regarding weather or not it helps. Figured i'd go with whats in the main normally for, my first run.

You guys do the whole lights out for 2 days?

You've got some nice chunky buds there, I give my plants a couple days lights out at the end, more out of laziness than anything else. I usually pull them out of my flower room and leave them in my workroom for a couple days until I get around to the Chop. That ends up giving me two days lights out.

I'd say they look ready my last gsc is 12 weeks old today she's yellowing same as yours I want the same effect as you I will be chopping mine any day now. also as you know I use a cool tube it's one of my best investments

Sorry to hear about your illness buddy. My son had kidney cancer when he was 1 been stuck in hospital for 2 years straight aint nice. Hope it goes well the cannabis will help with sickness etc. All the best

jesus, sorry to hear that mate. Sending good healing vibes to your son @wetwood it's an absolute bastard of a disease but one I feel like were starting to get a bit of a grip on - well the common cancers. Still, a long way too go.

Guys im gonna be chopping n trimming critical and sourhand tonight. Hadnt clocked, but the sourhand had gotten quite crispy on the main cola. Very dried out. Hope shes ok.
