have you got a dimable ballast pal if thats what you mean you can turn them up from 250 just keep the lights higher if you doand it looks like your finding your feet

Yeh got the dimmable lumii black. 250, 400 and 600w. If i turn upto 400w for sure the tent will be too hot, without getting some major new airflow going through. Gonna set up the inlet fan now and see how that makes things.
So long as the temp is good, do I NEED to step upto 400w, or is it just the heat im after?

Thanks for the response @St. Tom Tom

check mine out pal i use a hps and led in a small tent a cooltube is awesome for small spaces i will always use mine also you can turn your lights up as long as your heats in control i go as high as you can

Looking at my last upload of pics, they've come up a fair bit. Measurement wise, all have more than doubled which is a touch! It's really cool getting a grasp on the drinking habits too isn't it.
After reading @autobeast topping thread, think im gonna top of the stardawgs... Their currently on day14.

Afghan 1, below, is now 27days old, and no longer the biggest girl.. That is now critical2.0, just infront of Afghan1 in the pics.

Been toying with the idea of getting a cooltube for lights as i'd like to switch both upto 400w. However i don't think im get a chance this grow, with the amount of stuff i have going on atm.
Am right now testing the heat, by turning one hps up to 400w, if its stays 30c or below, it'll be sound right?

You can grow at 30c and if that's what you have to do that's what you have to do. I used to do it that way and unfortunately it can lead to light Airy Buds and just plants that don't do as well in general. Also when you have higher temperatures you have higher rates of transpiration and you don't want to fertilize as much.

Ah right i see. That makes sense. Im at 29c right now. If it gets any hotter I'll drop it back down. Its just I've got these 600w capable fuckers, i wanna use em! Never figured beforehand about heat. Thanks for the reply @jingo

Yeah it takes most Growers some time before they're able to dial in their environment. The best thing would be able to draw your intake air from someplace cool like if you're in the house and can get it from a crawl space or something that'd be perfect. And then of course you want to exhaust out of your room somewhere else so you're not recirculating the same hot air.

Yep. Thanks for the reminder, i need to sort the intake fan properly, before it (hopefully) starts getting out of hand in there.

i was super busy with fam and doing cancery stuff :-/ They have all grown a fair bit! starting to get colas on a few of the elder girls. Not sure if there looking to healthy tho? also got a odd coloured and textured leaves on the go here. I topped one of the stardawgs (together in last pic) anddddd it looks as tho the untopped stardawg is fairing a bit better, for now.
With the weather getting a fair bit colder here now, im running one light at 600w, other at 400. Inlet fan also set up.
Tomorrow will be day 40 for afghan1. So will start adding carbooverload as per tangs schedule. Critical 2.0 is going very well.

Please let me know if you can spot any deficiencies ? On the lower leaves there is some nute burn for sure, few other odd marks that i don't recognise

Cheers peeps, hope you're all growing well ;-)
