Uk and Europe guerrilla grow community.

Sounds good.

Thinking about UK outdoor guerilla grows...
Is it better to do a very fast indica that may be dense and thus prone to the nasty rot,
or something a bit slower but less dense (hybrid or more sativa) that is less dense and less prone to rot?
Like, critical and NL are fast and dense, is that the best option?
Genuine question here for growing outdoors in UK.
Though, now that I think about it, NL is dense, but actually pretty good against rot IME.
I guess the Frisians are all good because they are bred for these latitudes and climates.
And the Duck for stealth.

If I had a bag of FB Gorilla Glue sitting around, they would be in the ground too!!

im new to GG so I can’t give an experienced answer on this. My thinking though fast and dense strains because come the end of September/ beginning of October the weather usually gets quite unforgiving.

When choosing plants mould resistance is a must... short flowering times too... so indica dominant hybrids are suitable. Too much rain in late flower added to lower temps is one of the worst conditions to deal with!, the equinox isn't til the end of September and 'photos' will only have started flowering fully by then!.. when choosing 'autos' its prolly best to go with sativa hybrids or XL strains as they can get pretty big outdoors!..
An ideal time to start seeds is the end of April (4.20), harden them off before putting them in their forever home, they get the best if the British weather?! (Yeah right).. And should be ready by bank Holiday weekend in August...
I was told brambles and blackberries are mould magnets, so a decent size clearing should be made to plant in, also figure how to water?.. if water is close by to tap from or fill containers, as a lugging water to a spot can be quite awkward!.. remember these are stealth spots and shoukd ideally be checked on, well as little as possible!.. turning up daily is gonna increase your risk of getting spotted and will wear out a trail strait to your spot!.. don't want that do we?..
Jus some food for thought...
Easy now!..

nice One. I have been going off planting photos outdoors for this very reason. I will do some but about 2-3 and hedge my bets with an auto grow. Hopefully I can get two cycles of autos if I plant in April then again in late may/ early June

I have a large bramble field behind my home. Nobody’s ever about but last year it was used by kids a lot, them brambles are like a fence of barbed wire.

As a kid my friends and I had a special hideout we used.
It was a hollowed out area under blackberry at the edge of a farm field.
Great fun!

I'm thinking you're probably right.
Previous outdoor growing for me was in very hot and wet climates.
Never gets too cold to grow, I used to do outdoor winter grows!
But the heat is up to 38C every day for a month or two, plus rainfall of up to 100+ mm per day when it pours.
Want open flowers that don't hold water for that.
But time was not a problem, can just let them keep flowering for months if need be.

Not in the UK though!!

My present plan is some Real Gorilla Seeds or maybe more La Buena Hierba autos.
Bred for the cold wet climates.
Start them around mid April (4.20, haha!), and try to finish them end of August to early September.
Maybe try a nice 'fast version' semi-auto if I can find some nice strains.

Not sure about water so much.
Everyone says UK rains a lot.
Does it?? Over summer?
I have seen some nice plant-and-forget guerilla grows in the UK with no watering.

I think if they are in the ground it is far far less a problem.
In pots, well, they will need water!

I need to change my tropical "get those pots and plants dry quickly" attitude,
to "let's try to hold some water in there" for a plant-and-forget grow in UK.

Only 2-3??
I figure plant 5 X what you want to harvest.
And by the time you lose one to pests, lose another to some shit weather, have a runt or weird growth with another... lucky plant number for the win! If more pull through, lucky me. But if I don't plant enough... nothing in the harvest bags come fall.

24 feminized Autoflowers in 2021
4 meters x 2.5 meters
2,400 liters of soil. 635 U.S. gallons of soil.

Been doing outdoor and Autos on and off the past 7 years.

Nice work there! Love that big grow bag, haha!
100 L per plant?!??! Drop 50 autos in there, please!

Plant 10, 5 in 2 locations!

Nooooo lol. 2-3 photos and the rest autos. I’m aiming for about 15 plants in total.
