New Grower UGHijinx New Grow

Day 10.

Gnats have gotten worse. I laid some yellow stickies down and that captured a bunch, somewhat under control. Going to proceed with day 10 feeding per the schedule above. I plan to also water in some mosquito bites as well.

They seem small for day 10 but I keep telling myself to trust the process.

Gnats have gotten worse.

Make sure to hunt them down to the last one adncheck daily if possible! They can get out of control very quickly. Make sure to look for them also on the outside of the pots, in any nook and cranny of the pot and the tent... they hide very well in any dark corner or crack.

Sweet. Thanks guys! Their activity was significantly reduced after the stickies, we will see about the mosquito bites I watered in last night, only a small amount fingers crossed. I will continue to reapply as needed, I wonder it might be destroying whatever microbial life I have so might include some mammoth p and recharge next watering as well.

Planning on also adding a cup and plastic of apple cider vinegar. This has worked awesome for fruit flies in the kitchen in the past. Good shouts on the link. Cheers!

Still working on the gnat issue. The ACV trick didn't do much. It seems to be getting better, certainly not any worse. I guess I'll continue with the mosquito bites on the day 15 watering.

I am planning on popping two more seeds for the 2x2 but want to wait until the autopots are feeding the others. Maybe some 4AM or o-utan. Wonder if it would be helpful to toss some mosquito bites in the rez...something I'll think about or I'll just top water in.

In other news I setup my exhaust fans but the kit I ordered with the controller doesn't connect to the app (529). Their customer service agreed to replace both of the controllers with the type 67s. Pretty pleased with that as they are honoring orders from last November.

Added a bottle of tnb naturals, likely placebo effect but they seem to be loving the boost in C02. All are working on their third notes, will post up some pics this evening. Looking forward to topping and training.

Day 16

Working on getting them watered today with the mosquito bites and nutrient mix. Hoping the next 5 days provide a lot of growth as I've heard you typically want to wait until the leaves reach the side of the pots before turning on the autopots.

They look pretty good aside from their size to my untrained eye. I do notice some yellowing on the starter leaves on some

On a side note I picked up some grow dots after reading some other threads. I am wondering if that product might be my easy button with water only in the rez for autopots. Something to try out in the future

I've been using the grow dots as a test with a fastbuds blueberry and so far 0 issues. Water only besides recharge every now and then. I opted for a heavier feeding with it on the bottom of the pot and lighter at the top in a 5 gal.

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions for me? Looks like brown spots on the starter leaves, very dry to the touch and would crack with force. Haven't watered since last feeding. Getting pretty dry, have just been trying to keep the soil.moist on top best I can.

I am thinking it might be cal mag deficiency since I'm in coco but just a guess...new growth appears healthy. I might just cut to the chase and get these on the autopots so they regulate themselves
