Ok looking like most difficult part will be waiting on them to be ready to use after starting so time seems like most important part! Moving soon in January so once I do I’m gonna setup my own lil station! For now I’ll just order the castings or Oly mountain compost to use as topdress and I’ll grab some craft blend just in case! Def don’t mind getting less in a harvest (than dwc can) but have a cleaner finished product plus without the crazy costs some nutes carry with them! Sounds like a winning plan! Thanks again

Hey buddy @hecno if I ordered cu ft of build a soil 3.0 is Oly mountain compost the best option along with craft blend for topdressing purposes?? About to make an order so have in time to transplant lil mephistos going now into good soil so I can stay away from liquid bottled nutes? Just wanna make sure I grab best option cuz smallest size is like ($20) for 2 gallons or $5 more ($25) for full cu ft of it! If I keep it in garage in same airtight bin I keep my soil in will it keep it moist and fresh? Or since free shipping should I get soil n craft blend now and wait to grab compost part! Like always amigo I appreciate the help! And a lil qqq too

I would go for the [ $25 ] and same bin , just mix the other soil into it , now it will start to dry out in time . So water it with Black Strap Molasses 5 ml a liter to keep it damp but not wet . You can keep it for months this way , pretend it is a plant and -- feed the soil --. If you have garden worms put some of them in too .

Ok bought some stuff from local hydro shop! He works with build a soil so has bunch of their products he said he’d price match without shipping cost added in too! I got a 1.5cu ft bag of oly mountain compost and he had this that had a lil hole in it so he taped it up and sold ITV for 1/2 price! Hopefully it works same as their liquid stuff.....
Hoping this works the same! If so should I shake it up with water or sprinkle it over soil or top of the oly compost?? Also he accidentally overcharged by $5 so gave me a bag of cover crop stuff too! His soil tho is made as living stuff and kind I got is actually charged with em1 ahead of time so thinking it’s why my 1st plants wound up with burnt tips when nectar is supposed to be really hard to burn em with Nitrogen so thinking it was from me trying to get to the 300-500ppm nectar says soil should be and the microbe life in soil was munching down on the excess nutrients so they never really built up on me! That’s just my guess tho and either @hecno or @MrOldBoy wohld know this answer better than I would! Also this is the mix my soils made up from!!.....

Oh found out he also works with urban worm farm place so has their worm cribs for $98 but said if cheaper online he’d match their price! He has 2 in his shop he let me check out and seems easy peasy as long as keep it moist and keep em fed! Can also get worms thru him for like $25 per lb (1000 worms)! Is that a good amount to start with 1 bag or that more than I need? Just wondering what outta pocket cost will be to get started! Def excited to get away from bottled nutes! Become a pain sometimes adding 6 diff bottles together and then having to get ph correct when spring water is 6.5 out the jug! No ph’ing required! Sounds like a winner to me!

Pumpkin Soil, that’s killer too bro, good store - that soil is formulated to grow big Flippin pumpkins .....

Worm bins too, dude that is a good hydro store - all you need is a pound of worms to start and your bedding - search YouTube for how to start or ask Steve, from Urban Worm for how to manual - he has info on the web, sign up for his newsletter ....

Plus soils Pre-charged with EM1 and has insect frass and bunch of stuff that looks similar to build a soil! He carries their build a flower soil but rest he makes stuff that is similar to BAS soil products! Like mine has rice hulls (silica eventually) plus coco and bunch of other goodies! Could u see soil ingredient list or no on that 1 too?
