New Grower Two kilos minimum?

I agree. No matter what he does, unless he gets lucky, he's not going to do it. But autos are easier for beginners and strains like AU are easy to get a good yield from even if you don't have the greatest grow. New growers first lesson: What's your budget? You won't grow even a pound indoors for much less than $1500 with lights and environment control, a minimum 4'x4' tent, good genetics, pots and soil/medium, etc. And a lucky rabbit's foot.........

So yes, start small, but if your feeling reckless..lol, or have money to burn, it can be done. But even with all the right stuff in place, it might still take you a few grows to hit your goal.............

And I've not seen a person yet who's happy with one grow a year!

Because Haggis has one grow under his under his belt, we can assume next to none of the equipment needed (yet) to pull 2kgs regardless of genetics.

ANYONE wanting advice on how to grow a primo auto is looking in the right place right here let me make that clear, MUCH respect to all of you sharing what your doing!

However if Haggis wants 2kgs from one grow for whatever reason many would recommend photos. He could be schooled up as much as anyone cares to teach but the fact remains that accidents happen and one mistake on a crop of autos under all the right equipment could mean too low of a yield or a second grow, which in haggis' case isn't what he wants out of this endeavour.

So whats a week or two or even a month in extra grow time compared to having quite a large safety net?

We all know it's possible with AU, but honestly if @haggis was my friend I could not guide him with a clear conscience to a grow shop or online and drop thousand on equipment and hundreds on seeds for the possibility to stunt them and cause months of life stress and money wasted.

I'm not looking to get bashed for endorsing a regular seed i just think its a more responsible choice for haggis.

Heck @haggis run an experiment doing half auto half reg and post results for everyone to enjoy and learn from whilst learning more for yourself than anyone could teach.

2kg from your second grow is very ambitious! It's achievable, but I would possibly get a few grows under your belt.
Learn about the plants, how to spot problems early on, and how to diagnose them properly so it doesn't turn into something serious.
The more plants you grow, the more work it entails. I have a perpetual grow going and it takes some time, I've been crazy busy with work lately and groom has been a bit neglected, and I can really tell. The plants don't look as happy as they usually would. (That's not weird is it :) )
The more plants you grow, the problems you are likely to encounter meaning more time in the groom. So don't think it will be easy.

If I had a target for 2kg off one grow I would definitely be growing photos. It's more likely a lot easier to get out of photos than autos. If you mess up, let it veg longer. If you mess up with an auto it effects yield so much it's quite a shame.
With all that being said, what ever route you take. Good luck!!!

Wow 4 bows. That's freaking awesome. I had a room never got there. And you're talking a small tent. I think it can be done for about 1500 to 2500. But you'd want many strains at least 3. That's just to much of one girl. I wish you luck if you still are gonna try.

My suggestion is a small grow in that tent with a 1/4lb dry goal. You can do that with what you have and actually achieve and even beat that goal. Much better to have a reasonable affordable goal.

I understand what ze Germans is saying.

Autos are harder to grow than photos because one fuck up and your yield drops dramatically.

Photos you can veg until you're happy, and even re veg if your not.

Personally I've only grown autos, and yes you can just let them go and get a harvest. But if it's not spot on, you can end up growing a plant for 10 weeks that yields less than an ounce.

Autos are easy once you're dialled though.
