Show Grows 2023 Twenty20 Tier-2 Auto Debut Grow & Show

An unbelievable amount. I actually shared a similar sentiment a few weeks ago when I first noticed them…. before the aphids asexual reproduction proved me naive. I ended up buying a product at my local hydro shop called Flying Skull Nuke’em so we will see, it is OMRI listed but I loath sprays. Beyond the potential for yield reduction the aphids shed their exoskeletons as they grow and the lowers are smothered in the carcasses. Maybe I can do a bud wash to clean them off and any spray residue all at once, but again it would be better to chop and start anew almost. They have also left the honeydew droppings all over the leaves and buds that looks shiny in little spots, this can increase mold later because the honeydew acts as a food source for the mold. It’s a lesson I plan on learning once, hopefully sharing it can help some others to learn from my mistakes so they don’t suffer the same fate
Sounds horrible to deal with, sorry you had to deal with this and you had the biggest giant plants of all of us so i hope you can still get a decent harvest! my plants decided not to go tall lol after seeing yours i planned to net mine down but turns out there was no need for that they stayed kinda short.

Hope the best for you man!

Week 6 Report, Day 43 - Strawberry Biscotti Auto, Strawberries n Funk, CaliBubba Auto F2, Chic-lit F5 Auto

Week 6 and i see frost building up now but i see CaliBubba and Chic-lit seem very unhappy both showing ugly discoloring of a few leafs and both being shorter plants, both strawberry strains LOVE me, sometimes this happens when feeding 4 strains from 1 res, 2 strains like it and 2 strains do not. because of this i dialed back 1 part megacrop from 5-5.2g per gallon to 4.8g per gallon hoping this helps. i re-calibrated my PH pen but it is spot on so PH is not the issue.. i dunno what the deal is, i normally feed heavier than this and most plants don't mind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
no idea but they still look decent so as long as they make some buds I'm happy :eyebrows:

late flower
The girlz are 9 weeks old, 63 days today. I already vaped a couple lower buds that came off while pulling the fan leaves off the Strawberry Biscotti, so I'd call both the strawberry girlls 60-day strains. they are already showing ambers. From left to right:

The Twenty20 4x4 tent girls are doing well!
Vidamints and Strawberry Biscotti in the big pot both got topped this morning!

Chic-lit Is beginning flower and starting to take off reasonably well. She caught me by surprise, sorta. I wasn't exactly paying super close attention to her with her lack of growth. Still was looking at her to top her. She showed sex one day and jumped in the flower with mini bud sites popping up. This was Thursday of last week and I didn't annotate it. She stayed pretty low but is now starting to grow upwards. I haven't done a thing to her other than feed and she actually has a pretty decent natural form.
Strawberry Biscotti has shown sex today.

Thanks @MedCzech. I forgot to say that the Strawberry Biscotti has a very sweet fruity candy flavor. The buds I knocked off got a 24-hour open-air dry in the grow room with the dehumidifier set at 62%. Each bud was small enough to squeeze into the Arizer Solo. I vaped her at bedtime on 2 consecutive nights, and slept straight through 'til morning. It will be a small harvest, but definitely going in my very special reserve stash.

the Aphids persist. I applied two rounds of the first spray and bought a sample size of lost coast. I sprayed lost coast last night and there is still aphids alive this morning but I think we knocked them down enough to reach the finish line, practice a bud wash and then hash them all. Tall and lanky ladies falling from the weight of the spray. I plan to never spray again, the experience has cemented my opinion on sprays being gross and I’ll feel like my harvest is tainted no matter what at this point. Nothing to be proud of and avoiding sprayed weed is why I grow my own. Lessons learned the hard way on this grow

That's real shame man! I definitely get your aversion to spraying!
I'd definitely be using the 4 bucket wash method at harvest
