Day 29 : Start of week 5! Didn't seem to mind the topping too much. Bit of nice tight new growth. Will probably move to the full strength nutrient mix from here forward. Gave a blend of 80%/100% strength tonight. Looks like I don't need to increase volume or frequency yet. Will stick with the 500ml every other day unless I see/feel dry coco or the runoff volume drops significantly.

IN: 500ml 686ppm/6.1pH
OUT: 338ml 415ppm/6.5pH

Day 29: 500ml
IN: 500ml 798ppm/5.8pH
OUT: 206ml 435ppm/6.5pH

Day 36: Still just plowing along. Watering twice a day at this point, 7am/7pm. Volumes fluctuated a bit but setting in at about 600ml, still full strength Jacks which comes in at 820ppm and sitting nicely at 6.0pH

Maybe a little striping on some of the older leaves. Possible mg deficiency. Might bump it 0.2g on the next nute batch.

Day 43: Start of week 7. Still under the 18/6 for a couple more weeks. Getting 800ml of water twice a day, full strength Jacks 3-2-1. Put on a lot of size this last week.

I've done a wee bit of defoliation down low and removed a few of the thin strandy stems.

Day 48: Still veg. because I'm obviously mad and haven't grown a photo before. Still having fun just watching how big these leaves and branches are getting. Did some defoliation around the bottom. The larger leaves were being pushed down and touching the pot. A couple were picking up moisture from the waterings so a trim was in order.

I would advise the stretch can be real lol I’m not sure what these ladies will do maybe @Twenty20 Adam will have a better idea but even with Afghan background genetics with slow veg and not a ton of stretch 6 weeks usually works out to be a bit too much. She’s looking great too

Day 56: Week 9 : A frickin monster. 4.5L per day of 1020ppm at 6.0ph. Drinks like a mad beast. 2-maybe 3 weeks to flip. Just waiting on the auto next to it to finish up. I don't mind as I've got space to let it be on it's own and finish up. Quite excited to see just how massive this one will be......

Been defoliated, trimmed, topped, LST'd etc....

Evidence of "snippery" but, it persists!

Twenty20 Mendocino : Sparkle Face - Day 1: 05/04/22

We have liftoff.

Loaded a 1.5gallon AirPot with Cyco Pearl Coco Coir
Rinsed/presoaked with Jacks 321 "Clone" product.
Mixed 2.6g of "Clone" with 1.1ml of DynaGro Protekt Silica into 1 gallon of distilled water
Final mix was 6.1pH and 371ppm

Ran the full gallon through until the runoff started to drop the ppm to near input.

Presoak volumes. Test the amount and pH/ppm to ensure it is where I would like. It also looks like this pot of coco can hold about 1.5L before it is fully saturated.

Something looked funky so I dug it up thinking there were possibly two heads trying to poke through. Instead I found this nice long root coiled into a "U" shape. The end of the root is almost next to the cotyledons. Not worried as one of my last T20 seeds did this and ended up being an absolute monster. I can only suspect that I didn't soak the pellet enough or it had a hard spot inside that forced the root back up. Could be low QC on the box I bought.

Hydro Halo installed. I am using the 9" Hydro Halos. They fit the 1.5g airpots nicely and I attach a long section of 1/2" hose with a funnel on the end. Makes hand watering much easier for me. Once the plants get big I find it difficult to reach in and water.
