Bud - I sometimes get these feelings about certain members...and they are almost never wrong. You are going to rock this grow room!!
Hmm turns out we are using the same lights then(I am currently running two 100X3w Galaxyhydro at 140 true draw). Like you said not top of the line by any means, but they do a decent job(.6gpw with grow errors on my end) and the bud is spectacular in quality. So far I have run mine for 9months total at 24/0 and they are perfect..no problems at all, no burnt diodes, no loud fans. I am interested in seeing how the Galaxy/role/populargrow cob works for you. One note about the 100X3w galaxies. You likely did not need the dimmable version unless severely cramped for space. I run my seedlings within 30" and they work great. I bought the dimmable version "just in case" with my limited vertical, but the second galaxy I bought I skipped the added coin from the dimmable version and bought the regular. So the IR spectrum in the Galaxies does indeed cause nodes to be tight with little stretching.(something to keep in mind) If you would like to see a journal with the Galaxies in action(complete with grower errors...lol) have a look in the Dragon Meds category for my thread "Autowars", also have a current ongoing journal happening there.
