Hello gents. It's that time again to change my setup and grow my operation a bit. I have 2 2'x4' tables in my 4x4 tent under t5ho at the moment and have a few week old ladies under the lights.

This is where I was about to test my hydro setup by flooding the table with solution for the rockwool before i transplant some seedlings in minicubes.

And here we are transplanted and ready to grow!!!! The left side are 15 Auto Assassins while the right hand side has 12 PJ's.

Here is the res on my setup. Notice that I only notched out a section to run the tubing for ease and so that I can close the container. I will be filling it with 20 gallons weekly. I have an identical tray and res on the other side that is not lit up but will be as i have plenty of beans soaking right now.

Moving off to a full hydro run is slightly scary but I'm excited to try to maximize yields with this. I still have a lot of work to do on the setup to make it more stable as I only had plans for one tray at first to get my feet wet. Let me know what yall think and I will be posting quite often on this grow log.

Looks like a nice setup Tshirt. I'll be watching as I'm about to start up a hydro setup after the 1st of the year.

i can show you how to setup a system on the cheap with mixing tubs for cement i made that first but got these tables cheap from my mom and pop shop.

I'll be watching this one bro and taking notes. :D

Thanks, but we've pretty much decided on an Aerojet system. I'm doing this with a friend who is cashed up so $ isn't an issue. Plus we want an expandable system and the Aerojet fits the bill. Going to start with 4 trays and a 20 gallon res, then add more trays as we go and eventually a 2nd 20 gallon res.

Thanks jackal I will try to show how its done I suppose.

So gents my plan is to grow them in the 4" cubes until sex shows then mount them in either rockwool slabs or put them on top of 6" cubes. Any thoughts or advice welcome as this is totally new to me and is fun to discuss ideas. :smokebuds:

good to know muddy. i wanted to do aero and got offered a large amount of used aero equipment for dirt cheap (80% off of retail) but I need to learn how to do hydro first. I did pic up a watercooled HPS tube for 150 and am going to grab a reflector for like 30 bucks. Just need a 600w ballast, a bulb, and a 50 gallon res and I'm ready to setup a HPS system finally indoors. I feel that the watercooling will work from the research I have done. And without air extraction I can try my hand at co2 in a closed space. This is all leading up to the point that I branch out from autos and run two photo flower tents on one 600w ballast with a flipper switch to save me from trying to find a new breaker point for all those amps. I would like to churn out a good bit every 3 weeks if possible.

From everything I've heard and read aero is the way to go for the big yields. Figured that the only real difference is the delivery system to the plants so might just as well start there. It's going to be a photo grow using clones, so big learning curve as I've never cloned nor maintained mother plants before. But I've got this great resource to fall back on, it's called AFN!
