Well if your cropping near the time I am this should be interesting. I was planing on cropping that beast around mid to late july. I was shooting for 4 zips a piece. Now you make me wonder if this will go up to 6 or more considering the size. I was now planning on putting 3-4 2gal assorted on each side with the Sch in the middle. I could hang my lights where the small ones get lit and the Sch gets super side lighting and have one unit above them by anchoring one to the ceiling since I have a stud finder anyway. That would provide main bud for the fall/winter then I could do all the breeding I've wanted. Plus I have those number one super autos still plus 2 more Sch in my bean bucket. Plus I still have some photo strains lying around waiting for some fun.

thats a plan alright...i lke the sounds of that...i reckon you could get 2 runs of normal autos in the time it would take for the supers to finish...and if the 3 SCH give anywhere between 2 and 4 oz each your laughing
i'm hoping for 3 runs on the normal autos this summer...i still have blue himalaya and Mi5 beans left...and then i'll have 3 SCH beans left for next year...i was lucky and my pack of 5 SCH actually had 6 in it
I've also dropped a northern Light in a pot outdoors...it's been outdoors from day 1 and is about 3 weeks old but the batch i had didn't auto so i'm thinking i'll just leave it out all summer and see how it goes

i can't see any reason why you couldn't lst them...alot of autos seem to respond well to lst and given their longer grow period it shouldn't be a problem...there is a thread somewhere on the indoor grow section by 215medicineman...he's the only guy i've seen grow SCH to the end...he had some problems as memory serves...a couple hermied and the ones that flowered seemed to grow at different levels but he topped one with decent results and got between 2 and 3oz of each of the 3 he harvested...but he did say the strain seemed unstable and wouldn't go with them again...but so far mine seem to be pretty good

yah im keeping an eye out for the uneven growth. But with my lighting system I don't think that will be a huge issue since I can change the whole setup easily on the fly. my prob is if they hermie then they are going to get kicked out of my room asap.... with no alternative lighting that would call for a harvest ASAP. I better get more than 3 zips a piece with the extended grow times needed for this strain or i will not be using any other super autos in the future. If thats the case I would rather grow a sea of different strains with 2-2.5 zip averages in 9-10 weeks from seed.

Ok so i went to clean up my grow space and hit up a few photos before i go to the hydro shop for some soil and stuff.

here are my flowering BHD at 34 days outta the soil. Looking good but man they are now SUCKING up the water. I usually wait 4-5 days but they demand watering later today after i transplant some things.

This first pic shows the middle plant that is a SCH that showed sex as female yesterday at only 16 days which I think is an odd pheno that i must have gotten. I would assume these puppies dont show sex until week 4-5. The second is ole Bambi flame the SCH next to my top BHD and you can see how big this monster is going to get. The other SCH are acting "normal" for what i have read about the breed. I am excited to think that Bambi might actually get to flower for an extra 2 weeks over my other ladies. This sets the stage for HUGE yields.

Lastly are my two remaining mi5 that have not shown sex yet but the males were easy to spot quickly so i am assuming these will be female soon. I will transplant to 2gal containers and see what happens.


I will update a little further along with some plans that i want to hand draw and take a pic of to show you all what kind of lighting i think i will be transitioning to for the SCH due to the size of them.
