trying to head off a problem early

been flushing w pH 6.1 water, runoff pH is 6.5
Then I would continue flushing with pH 5.7 until the runoff is 6.0. Then flush one last time with until 20% runoff with pH 5.9 water and a normal dose of nutrients. That way you give the plants something to feed on after this ordeal...

I've probably run 20 gallons thru this 3 gallon smartpot and am only at pH 6.2

is it _possible_ that it can't get to 6.0?

I've been running the AN Nutes which has weird stuff in it to auto-pH the solution... (see my original post)

thanks

In fact, as I was preparing a new nute solution, I tested my RO water (pH 7.0), put in my AN ph perfect base nutes, and checked pH on the solution - 6.0!! I'm thinking whatever AN put in the base nutes to manage pH has kept me from getting the flushed pots to 6.0 on their own.
