Hey Jay, and friends. Nice to be back! I lost pretty much all of my pics of this grow after the crash. But luckily I have the last few pics I took of some bud shots. The girls came out to be real nice. I've been slacking on the harvest, as I'm still slowly chopping the girls. I flushed them slow for 2 weeks as I chopped the bigger buds first.
The SAD girls where some really hefty buds. Unfortunately they dried to be a little more airy than I expected. The smell on them is really just straight afghan/incense to me. Still fresh, obviously, but while trimming she had a nice berry tone that I hope comes back. The smoke of these girls (with very little cure) is a nice slow high at first, but after a couple bowls the sleepy buzz kicks in. However, if I smoke this at work, as long as I stay working It helps to stimulate creativity and reward.
The Cream Mandarin. These girls are just the opposite, grew not as dense as the SAD, but when dried she really got rock hard and didn't lose as much weight. The smoke is quite unique. It has this taste, and I'm going to call it the "staple of sweet seeds taste", because all 3 of these strains have that same taste as a key note in the vaporizer. However the exhale is different with each strain. Anyways, the CM has a very nice minty/mandarin exhale. When trimming her the smell was so divine, something like berry, with mint, and candy, I believe my thoughts were "This smells better than candy". The high is real nice, however I've noticed that smoking a doobie, and smoking the vape, is 2 totally opposite highs. Out of the vaporizer the taste is out of this world, however the high is really mild for me, usually takes me 2-3 bowls to get ripped off the vape, and thats unusual for me. Now if I smoke a nice doobie, well the high is just grand. Really helps me to relax after a days work. Most of the time I have no problem smoking a whole joint in 1 sitting. But with the CM I usually find myself gazing off after a 1/4 of a J and it burns out, once I realize I have to light it again I usually decide its best I save the rest for later lol. Fairly ripped off combustion smoking with the CM, very pleased.
I just got to try the Cream Caramel today for the first time as they were the last to be chopped. The color is real nice on the buds, the appeal is awesome. The smell is very berry like/ incense. The smoke is somewhat the same a little sweeter. As stated above is has the staple sweet seeds smell and taste, but the exhale is a little more on the fruity side compared to the others. Havent rolled a joint of this yet, only done a bowl out of the vape earlier today. The high was nice and mellow, lasted a decent bit. Helped me to get through the day of constant travelling and family affairs lol. I will report back once I roll a doobie of this stuff. They are just about done drying and put in to jars for burping.
Still learning on posting pics for now. I plan to do a full smoke report once the girls get a nice cure on them. Thanks to everyone for following along in this thread. I will be trying the remaining seeds I have in my organic soil, probably start the seeds in week or so. I guess I'll keep it going! Everyone take care!
