New Grower tricomb maturation rate

Hey fellow growers im growing a mephisto genetics sour crinkle it’s at 60 days old and around 15 percent amber trikes I’m about to start flush the plan was to flush for two weeks but I’m not sure if that will be too long to let them go I wanted about 30 percent amber and I don’t want to lose potency but I don’t want harsh smoke either I know all strains are different but any info is appreciated.

When I see some amber trichomes, I flush for 1-2 weeks then harvest. I do see a noticeable difference in my smoke (less harsh) by flushing,

I know some think flushing is a myth. I once hit a plant with good dose of Koolbloom dry, then decided to harvest the very next day. The smoke was not only very harsh, but actually made popping sounds while burning from the high level of nutrients. I will always flush.

I actually did hit them with dry koolbloom on the last feeding so I will definitely do two weeks flush thanks

I had this exact same question, mine are still all White pistils but after you flush do you do the last 2 weeks w/o water also?

Many plants just keep throwing white pistils, bloody annoying as you might not see your trics mature.

I look for the pods the pistils emerge from are engorged and not to open!

Sativa love to foxtail and intense light and to much heat can trigger this.

I find foxing decrease potency so cut a balance of pushing them longer..

I have had autos just up and die, they just finished I guess lol

The leaves are the best indication, if they fall away if you pull them straight then they are done and you won't have much foliage left after a few weeks lol
