The time is close for these 3 big girls as you can see by the pics of the trichome s id say the gelato41 will be this first to come down also @Mossy i know you like trichome pics

Thanks for posting the pix. When I looked at the pix of the tent, I figured that the plant on the right side was the closest to harvest due to the amount of yellowing leaves. That faked me out!

I've got a USB microscope but I don't want to pull a nug since there aren't that many on that plant. Over the past few days, the nugs have continued to get fatter. I've pulled apart "the forest" and there are a lot of yellowing leaves below the canopy.

A confounding issue is that there are 4 GG's in a 2 x 4. There's so much canopy and the foliage is so thick that the plants are being pushed away from vertical to the point that the net pots aren't flush with the top of the res and the plants are way outside the margin of the tent. If this was a photo, I'd be in deep kimchee because there's no way I could close the tent up. I've "complained" about the size of the autos; I call them "SLF's" (short, little, flippers) but, they're sure making up for being shorter than photos by bushing out. After a disaster of a grow in 2017, I'm pretty psyched about "bringing in the harvest" on this grow, not that my enthusiasm shows, of course.

I bought a wide angle + macro lens widget for $50 but it didn't do much for me. The big win was the Bluetooth remote shutter release. Give that a try and see how it works for you.

Heh, I harvested that plant today. The buds at the tops of the stems were in good shape, the ones lower down weren't "quite there". I'm pretty certain that I'll get some good bud from this plant but harvesting Joe opened up a fair amount of room for the other plants.
The harvest is in a bathroom off of my office on the first floor of the house. The temps will be in the high 70's, unfortunately, but I've got a fan and a little dehu in the room and everything is laid out in a $25 multi-tier mesh drying rack.
One guideline is that it'll be done in 1 day + (1 day for each 10% of RH) so I'm thinking 5 days at the inside. Wow, no shit, I've got a weed crop. So far, it's pretty lame but, I guess the best way to think of it is that things will only get better from here!

I left everything on the drying rack until Friday when I trimmed it and put it in two ½ gallon Mason jars. I was testing for dryness by bending a stem, hoping to hear a "snap". They never snapped (with a cracking sound) after six days but the RH in the room was 55±% so I figured it was time.

The jars are in a box in front of the tent in the garage which has got to be the happiest garage in SoCal with a 14k AC unit in it. I dropped an Acurite sensor in one of the jars and it's reading 74° and 59%.

Since this is my second grow but first harvest, all along the way I've had to figure out "OK, what's next?" and then go and study up on what I need to do. Next topic - learning how to "burp" (other than a small human).
