Hello guys so im not use to having to transplant it’ll be my first time! But what are your tell tales signs. My girls about 9” and I see 2 roots starting to come out my drainage holes in the 1gal pot. I also watered her down and had a lot more run off than usual and it be been giving her the same amount of water.

No comment on the transplant question but HOLY SHOOT GET THAT ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT OFF THE GROUND!!!

One of the major safety rules about indoor growing is to keep your plugs and cables away from anywhere water can run or leak. You also don't need the heating pad anymore.

Heating pad isn’t on and I have a saucer underneath and my floor is angled so even if water were to spill it’s go near the door and not my plugs. Not my first grow. Just my first photoperiod. Plan on making a table but works busy.

Man, the largest I transplant INTO is 1 gal...usually half that. Guess it works the same though...
I let my 'transplantee' dry a bit....form proper hole in 'receiver'....male to female insertion....water new medium away from new insert....
All stages with no root abrasions or disturbance.

I know how to do it, I’m just wondering what the tell tale signs are for when you need to pot-up. I want to veg in my 3gal and transplant into 5 gal for flower. Also as a reminder my ppls this is a PHOTO, not an autoflower

Now would be my choice.

I have fairly consistent trouble keeping a rootball together when transplanting Cannabis, and now use insta-transplant cups to avoid the problem. You should get away with it since you are dealing with a photoperiod. If you set her back, just veg longer.

Good luck with it. :pighug:

None of that changes the fact that your setup is unsafe, get the electrical up off the ground. If you burn your shit down it gives us all a bad name. House fires due to home cultivation are not cool.

My setup isn’t unsafe. Anyone with a brain knows water and electricity doesn’t mix. It’s up off the ground anyways. I’ve done more than a handful of grows just like that. I also see other with the same set up. Also I have someone home 24/7 that checks on it and I have sensors. If your going to go and say I’m giving everyone a bad name, how about all those ppl leaving butane cans at grow sites that are vacant, the ones that blow up their houses trying to make dangerous concentrates inside. I’ve been doing this the same way for a while and your the first person to have a hair across their butt about it. That strips not as close as it seems. But thanks again. If there’s a mod u can close this thread. I’m off this site. Seems to have changed through the years.

There's no reason to put a power strip inside, on the tent floor.

It makes ya look rather noob.

Keep power strips outside the tent, plugs and cords off the interior floor. Floor angles be damned, thats a poor excuse. It won't take much to get electrocuted.

That's like throwing hot cigarette butts in a trash can. DUMB.

Blah blah blah, you're not an electrician, you have no argument, just take the good advice we're giving you and stop acting like a fucking know it all.

Jesus dude, electrical safety is not something to act like a tough guy about.

Also, you know how I know you're a total noob? You posted a thread asking when to transplant. That is literally "Growing Plants: 101" type stuff. Don't let your ego get in the way buddy, it's going to be a rough life if you can't accept when you're wrong and then change to improve.
