Put soil in glass..and some water let set up some then test with pH pen..is that correct?

don't mean to butt in, but arthur is sayin the slurry involvez equal partz of soil & the water u feed with (already ph'd to what u norm feed at)...eg 2 tbsn of soil & 2 tbsn of the water...mix together, then let set for a few, then test with ph pen...at least that'z how i understand it'z done  ok, me gettin me coat now... :smoking: ppp

ok wait, i may have that wrong, lol :p arthur, is the water suppozed to be pre-ph'd, or-? after thinkin bout it, it'z the soil itself that'z bein tested, right-?...and pre-ph'd water would effect that, right-? hmmm...sorry, jus tryin to grasp it is all ;) ppp

Best would be RO or distilled. Clear of all ppm. I do not pH the water.

Wouldn’t the use of Mikrobs fix any pH related issues?
Possibly, over time, and providing the pH is not to low. Microbes prefer a higher pH.
If, your starting with a good balanced soil, and have a healthy microbial life, this will keep things pretty close. But... if your soil doesn't have what's needed, or the microbial life has taken a hit and things have slid, best to be on top of it.

Microbes are great, and make a marked difference in a grow, but they're not a save all from many issues.

lol I’m talking about the product Mikrobs, which is the same exact thing as Grower’s recharge, except it has one more strain of Thrichoderma and more microbes overall. It’s supposed to fix soil related issues including lockouts due to pH.

I run recharge. Good product. And will help hold pH in the zone. But these are only there to transport food to the plant at a wider pH range.

If everything started good, then everything kinda runs on its own... but, if it went all wonky, best to get everything on track. The microbes will have a much easier time running full tilt in a well buffered soil, instead of fixing issues. Personally I would do both, attend to the pH issue, and bring in a dose of microbes.

Mikrobs came feed last nite I level tablespoon per gallon phed water to 6.5..gave each plant about 19 Oz of water..about 1 water bottle full, this shouldnt be to much..well see how they look when I get hope..will also be doing slurry test then..thanks for the help everyone
