Transiberian

Ok have pretty much read thru the thread. Shoulda been in the infirmary a while back.

PH of feed

PH of soil

Overwatering is obvious, but there is more going on here. Fox farms is known for pH issues.
Yes I heard mixed reviews on Fox farm..if anyone as any tips on a simple soil for beginners or a mix of something that would be GREAT..thanks fam for all the help.

Maybe I should mix own soil..bUT that sounds harder to me..lol but I'm really getting frustrated. .I'm trying my best to chalk it up as learning what not to do..but I'm not a total noob and I've grown great stuff..but hey that's why I'm here..learned everything from being here aND asking questions..but that was 8 years ago..alotemp has changed...lol

Many great soils out there, kinda depends on your location. I'm on the west coast.
When I run soil, I have moved to nectar-for-the-gods #4. Well balanced, and every bag I've tested so far was on the money 6.5. It's not unusual to have drift during a grow, as the plant feeds on different things, but I had a bag of FF test 5.8 at the start.

There are people out there that can do this without the meters, those are true farmers, they have a pH meter, it's built into their eye. Most do not have the eye, good meters and regular use is necessary to combat feed issues.

My guess would be, if you did a slurry test of the soil, your pH will be low, and your ppm high.

What is a slurry test..and thanks for all the info.

Equal parts of the soil (taken halfway from plant to edge of pot, about an inch or so down) add the water you use. Let set about the length of time it takes to water the pot to run off and test with a pH meter( carefully it's a glass bulb) and ppm.

This is what I use to test when mixing soils, as well as pretesting bag soils... it's also great for running down issues.
