Transdermal Magnesium Guinea-pig thread.

The recipe I use is

1 cup coconut oil infused with cannabis
1 cup grape seed oil
3/8 cup bees wax
Melt this in a double boiler

Cool until almost solid, then whip til peaks form

Then add the mag oil.
with this batch I used 1/3 cup very strong solution of mag oil.
Add the mag oil slowly while whipping.
Whip until peaks form.

yield this batch was a little over 5 - 8 oz containers

I have not had a problem yet with the oils and the brine separating.
I make it as strong as possible.
If you can't get the peaks to form it may not be cool enough yet.

If you are going to add essential oils, add them after cool down. You can add them with the mag oil.

It does not matter what oils you use.
Coconut oil makes the best infusions with cannabis and is good for your skin and penetrates well.
Grape seed oil is really good for the skin naturally moisturizing with non-allergenic properties.

I have also found that when I'm using a strong solution of the mag oil, my skin gets dry. I put a little glycerin in the oil to help penetrate and moisturize.

How much glycerin? I like being old and scratchy, but the missus has delicate skin, prone to drying.
I see another trip to the store tomorrow.

For a strong solution, I would put 1 tsp per 2 cups.
More can be added if needed, it is good for your skin.

I wan to Infuse it in the Rubs ike Root66 ...So Flajes arebetter...

Humm .??

Musturd has been doing a lot of work with the roots.

Maybe he will put up some of his recipes. I think he does essential oils and herbs with the rubs.

Yea, yea I will get some recipes up. Really just 3 regular recipes and ongoing experiments with essential oils and amounts. Give me a day.

:peace:

BTW, pH meter got in today, the Oakton eco testr pH2.
It says it's pre calibrated, but should I get the calibration mix before turning it on?
A sexy looking unit!

Hey brother, that is the exact unit that I have. I would/will buy another one.

Yea, you will want to calibrate it with some solution, and check every couple of months.

Still using and loving the Mag Oil several times a day.

Thanks, Bro!
And keep rockin' the oil. Have you tried the full-on bath yet?

No, haven't been able to bathe here in the sticks, cause the creek is all froze up.

But seriously, no I haven't yet. I'm doing fairly well with the regimen that I am on now, but still will try it. My problem when I take a bath, I usually shower afterward anyway cause I still feel dirty, soaking there in 'dirt'. With that being said, not sure how effectual it would be for me.

Peace.
