Hi, does anyone topfeed organic nutes in autopots successfully? If so what you use and how you do it please....just want to use water in resevoir .. thanks

Why not manually add the organic nutes to each AutoPot's reservoir? You can turn off the feed solution, come back later and fill the trays, and then turn the feed back on. This avoids the nutes going through tubing and valves.

Have u done this? Did it work ok

I normally use biotabs ... so don't really know what to do

Yes, I and presumably many or most other AutoPot users have simply manually added feed or supplements to each plant's tray. It's as simple as top feeding, just dumping the feed in the tray rather than on the top.

For you using Biotabs and presumably feeding water without nutrients, just add your organic nutes to the trays.

You will probably want to adjust dosage, calculating how much you want to add to feed water. For example, if you are feeding a plant 2 L every 2 days (ave. 1 L/day) and want to add an organic supplement at an end concentration of 2 mL/L, then for just add 4 mL of the feed/supplement to the tray every other day.

I'm new to Autopots and this is one of the issues I find with the system. Some say don't top feed but I'm not sure that I agree. If you don't want Nutrients in your reservoir I guess the options are add directly to the tray or top feed. You could add an enzyme like SLF-100 which will help keep the lines clean. That's my plan for the next run.
