I asked him about the recipe and he said he uses 1 dl of dehydrated chili flakes about any strain that is hot. He prefers the ones that aren't so tasty and aromic because it would be waste to use good ones.Can you put some numbers on your recipe? I take it after you grind em up you have to filter it or the spray bottle won't clog up? any heat involved.
He pours oil on top of them until they are fully covered and let it sitt for a couple of days and then filter the oil through coffee filter.
Sometimes he has used fresh chilies and blender but the oil wont stay fresh long periods by that way. And he uses same stuff for cooking.
He mentioned also another recipe with oil replaced with hand desinfection agent. He said it dehydrated hes skin little too much on winters so he prefers oil. But he also said the hand desinfection agent will evaporate fast so its better if one is in a hurry.
Now you must be cautious and try with mild solution first if you are not used to capsaisin. Remember my friend is hard core chilihead and hes tolerance is very high. He can eat naga morich raw and they are literally as strong as bear mace.
