Grow Mediums Too big?

You know, though it doesn't seem it, you can take those valves completely apart. You either have a sticking pivot, or you need to replace that little silicone dot. Also, does it seat completely? it's one of the three issues, there is nothing else that can cause that. I suspect the silicone myself
I think it may be the pivot. I’ve replaced all the dots. Not a huge deal anymore, Since I’m slowing down my garden a bit.

Wow, that's one big ass bucket!

You know, I was going to back off too but I've not much else to do so I'm going to turn all my excess into hash. I know some others who are doing this and we're going to swap hash samples lol!

You can't get much simpler than auto pots, except for hand watering ( YUCK! ) I've been running mine almost 4 years and love them! actually thinking about buying the 2.2 gallon pots to replace the 5 gal. I'm seeing higher yields running 6 smaller pots vs 4 large.
I just got 4 more of the 2.2 for a total of 6. That is the way I am going. coco is 6" deep.

Right now Web Hydroponics is clearing out the "older" blue aqua valves. They are 10.95 each 50% off. This is where I get my auto pots gear.

Ya I'm in coco/pearlite "living soil" orgsnic...
I just planted a Six Shooter in a 3 gallon. 1st time using a small pot. I will water 2x a day as often as possible. Interested to see how she goes.
There is no such thing as Living Organic Coco. Coco is not meant to be treated like Organics, it is hydro with a medium. Dry ammendements work much better in Soil vs Coco. I dont promote dry ammendments and Coco, because it is superior to treat it like hydro. Good luck, slow

I don't agree. When I pull my root all out it is covered in michorrizal fungi. I'm sure there is bacteria as well. I have a thriving hypocrisy miles, and nematode population. I have great worms. Cover crops. Regenerative farmers create living soil in sand. I don't think you need dirt to have living soil. JMO. Thanks.
