Even in the final pot I find branches grow slowly without lst. These plants are growing nicely with lst . 2 autos a sour liver and a dinamex.Hi my friend
I put my autoflower plants directly in the final pot. I got the same straight grow if I transplant them after one week flowering.
This would be something for @pop22 mythbuster.

True looking at it from a breeders standpoint I agree with you 100%.Hi my friend
I don't do lst because I want to see how the plants develop without training. The most plants I grow are to breed with or to test for future projects. Some are breed by friends and I test them to see how they grow.
I don't care about big yields. The most people don't understand that but it's a part of philosophy and lifestyle.

You are right she has a great structure. And would be perfect as a mother.Hi @islandgrower
The biggest auto with the best branch was the UK auto cheese. The structure was really great. This is a candidate for breeding. I think about to pollinate one in the future with the orange assault line to give them a bigger grow and breed out the cheese taste. I have to do some backcross and carefully selection to carry the structure but not the taste and smell. But this is a future project at the moment I will work on other crosses.
In the picture you can see the UK auto cheese without training.
ps sorry it's not the best pic
Have a nice day
