I purchased the Espoma Triple Phosphate 0-45-0. This form of P is rock phosphate treated with phosphoric acid that chemically alters it into a soluble form that is useable by plants. The 45 represents 45% available water soluble P. Compare that to the 3% available P in the rock phosphate and you can see a significant difference. For our indoor uses we are better off using a P source where the label indicates available P, meaning it is water soluble and available as needed. ( I found this about it on another forum.)
Aside from the Phosphoric acid issue (which is enough on it's own), we only need highly soluble minerals when we are feeding the plants directly. We use the less soluble organic minerals because they are for long term nutrition of the microbes, not a short-term burst during flowering. The two approaches are almost opposite if each other... it is nice to have more than one choice that works.
hey X ...i have a Super soil Mix made alot by this with some other products. ..
It will be my first truely TLO/Bio ..i guess ...
Well it based off the same techniques of Poops ..
My own Vermiculture ...that im just being able to harvest from ..Red Wigglers ...they bad ass ..
All the Poops necessary and well all this stuff ..
Sorry, but I didn't understand most of that... It sounds like you may be saying you have been making worm compost and you want to grow plants in it.
I just started a thread and would like to ask for help along the way or a good watch ful eye ..
I have the poops to make teas with panties and stuff ..lol
I think the soil will be rich enuff to not have to feed more but who knows ...i have a Strain that has just proved to get larger than thought ..
I wanna easy grow with water and a tea every 2 weeks or so ..
when using fresh Vermicompost is there summn I should worry about ( I feed the Veggie Popsicles)
Freeze food scraps till a gallon bag is full fill it with water and let them have it ...helps keep em cool too when it's hot ....
So could the fresh rotten food scraps maybe do damage ..
Again its my first go completely SUPER so thanks for the refreshment of TLO
Again, I guess I could use a translator... But it sounds like you have made some worm compost that you believe will support plants through a grow... an experiment.
Also sounds like you would like for me to hang out in your thread and tell you how to fix things along the way, if things go south...
As I have stated many times. I take no issue with anyone who wants to try new things, tinker, whatever. But, I don't do that. I don't find it entertaining, and I've already invested probably near or over 100 hours setting up this forum when it first started, and organizing the research stickies, etc. to help people avoid having to experiment. That is what I'm about when it comes to helping people learn. So, if you want to experiment, have at it... but when you do, you're on your own as far as I'm concerned.
So, I will probably visit the thread but I'm not going to be on standby... sorry.
