Hey guys! Got a 15 day old baby bomb here today. Started it under a 40w HID desklamp, moved it under a 125w cfl a few days ago She loved the new light. Grown a bunch the last few days. She's in an old tupperware container with holes in it for drainage. No perlite or anything since it's such a small container. Seems to drain fine. I do think the tiny light did impede her progress a bit but she's moving along now.

Wasn't able to start a bunch yet but plan on starting two more using dark devil seeds in a couple weeks. They'll have proper pots, and some better starting soil.

For this one, it's just generic potting soil with no ferts, feeding a very light mix of homboldt nutrients at the moment. Seems to be doing okay with that. You can just smell a little bit of skunkyness if you put your nose right up to the plant.

She's under the 125w cfl, currently using a 6500k bulb. Will switch to something warm after she starts flowering. Also I'll be getting it in 200w. 20/4 split.

I have a few pictures from the beginning to now.

Pictures!

Day 1. Bit of trouble coming out of the hull. Fixes itself in a couple days.

Day 3. Damage repaired, tiny leaves! Still under the lamp at this point. Lots of stretching toward the light. Too hot to really be close enough.

Day 9. Stopped stretching, moving on to making some leaves. :)

And another from day 9.

Day 12. Cotyledons dying off. More leafage. :D

Day 15. Several for today. Been under the new light for 3 days. Feeding 1/8ml/gal of each: humboldt nutriets master A and B, with cal/mag additive and structural integrity additive. Water ph is 7.5 out of tap with a 300ppm. Hope I can keep this thing from becoming too limey. After nutes and buffers water ph was 6.6 so I went with it and she seems to be happy.

Will update again in a few days. :) Happy it's going somewhere. I know this one isn't likely to yield much but I wanted to get something going. Going with 1 gal pots for the dark devil seeds. Starting with a better light, hopefully they do well.

Looks good Bkn keep it up!

Day 20

Lots of new growth. After some troubleshooting in the infirmary and some helpful information from fellow AFNers it seems to be that the lower leaves suffered some nute burn but the rest of the plant is taking it all in stride. Super happy to see the pretty green leaves.

Does anyone know what the white spots on the leaves might be? They aren't moving or anything but it seems to be that there a few more spots than yesterday. Google says aphid poop, and that it shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as they aren't accompanied by ants. But I haven't see any aphids even when using a camera flash. I'll keep an eye on it and report back soon.

Day 22

Flowering time! Woke up to some tiny pistols :) Everything seems to be going okay. Lots of new leaf growth too. Stems are purpling up a bit on the top sides. Would love to get some of that light purple bud out of her!

Day 32

Perhaps because of it's small size, this plant does not like anything over a 1/4 dose of my nutes. Stepped it up a little last week and got some more burnt leaves. So next feeding will remain at 1/4 dose, and I will be removing the master A from the mix. She's doing super good. I will be putting her under a 200w 2700k light in a couple of days. Still using a 125w 6500k because I haven't been able to get the other one ordered. Currently watering every 2-3 days, feeding every 3 waters. (water, water, feed). I don't think I'm going to attempt LST or anything with such a tiny plant. The stem up top doesn't look like it could be trained very well anyways, it's rather thick. I am optimistically hoping for an eighth dried from her when all is said and done. Going to take her to 70 days if she'll let me.

Pretty cool man

Thank you! I know this girl is far from impressive but she's got me pretty excited. ;)

Lights just came on when I took this picture. Lots going on up top. I need to get a microscope for a better view. Or a new lens for the camera.

Need to see about some side lighting for under the canopy. I will probably get couple small CFLs for each side.

Almost half way there! :smoking:

Day 44

Yummy sweet, skunky smelling buds. Lots of bud sites forming over the last few days. The topmost buds show just a hint of starting to fatten up. Tiny little popcorn buds haven't done much in a week on the bottom. Really curious to see what the next 26 days is going to bring. Hoping to see this girl start to fill out. I've had to move the light every 2 days this week. Still feeding 1/4ml per gallon master B + equilibrium + structural integrity. She has been under a 2700k bulb for a week now. Really does seem to make a difference in how fast she puts out flowers.

New leaves are nice and straight. Some earlier growth got "the claw" from N toxicity when I tried to up the nutes.

The smell of one tiny plant is starting to drive me crazy. If you barely touch a bud or rub a leaf it smells like heaven on your fingers.

I will most likely cut her down on the first of December at the latest. Original plan was the 25th of this month but I'll most likely be visiting family. December first would be 70 days, which sounds good anyways.

Then I'm thinking a few days in a paper bag and I will probably just smoke all she's got since there isn't likely to be a lot. Not going to bother curing a few grams. :P

Also, does anyone have any advice on flushing? I know a couple weeks is preferred usually, but would such a small plant survive 2 weeks on it's own stores?
