Cheers IndyLed,
great looking plant and light you got:)

Are these Crees the 72V versions? I assume they are because of total watts per cob, usually they get really impressive efficency when driven softer at around 50W or less per cob.
I see some new manufacturers copying the now famous DIY recipe with MW drivers and Crees3590, can't blame them as it's probably the best combo of drivers/leds for efficency and intensity.
Cleck out TastyLed, they have a fixture similar to this but it drives each cob with 50W. The same thing I'm doing right now:)

Good to be a part of "full spectrum cob growers club", good luck with your future grows!

Why didnt u get cx300 instead.
It has 6x 3070, each at 50W, about 320W.
Also 750$.

3070 good bin at 50W about 48% efficient.
3590 good bin at 100W about 39%....
3590 is only better if u drive them softer, compared to 3070.
But not at 100W.

So the cx300 gives like 20% more light per watt, has more watt, costs the same, and 6x 3070 and reflectors and 2x of the hlg drivers are much more expensive in production cost, so also much more value per buck, light is spread more evenly.

Ive noticed that anything driven under 60watts has to be put so close to canopy it cuts coverage area down quite bit over the higher wattage COBs can do at 20 to 24inches.
On the left is 60watt vero18s and on right 90watt vero29s. Its hard to put the intensity thru canopy with low powered emitters.
The CXB3590s used in fixtures are CB 30G

90watt Vero29s 3000K Over ET CottonCandyCane April2015 - After using both Low Power and High Powered emitters, I would never spend $ on anything under 90watt Vero29 or 75watt CXB3590
