I've flushed for a week, she came down last night, nice bud to leaf ratio so trimming was a pretty quick job which I like. Nice and sticky, and extremely stinky. Tropical fruits with a very sour, eye watering smell, kinda like leaving the milk out in the sun, lol. Wet weight of 452g, so dry should get approx 4oz. Which I'll be pretty pleased with. Here she is just before chop, didn't get many pictures which is a shame, I'll update once a dried.

Flushing at end of grow is a strange thing, some people think it's necessary some people don't, from my experience, it doesn't really matter if you plan on drying it and jarring most of it for cure straight away and letting it sit for a month, it will smoke smooth. If you don't flush and smoke straight away will usually be pretty harsh.
I always like to try and give a week, just to get rid of some of chemical nutes from buds
I've taken down plants without flushing, it has to be cured, that's the only difference I seem to make of it. My personal preference is a week, some like two, some don't at all.

It would make sense to stick with AN calmag but when you compare what's in them, it's so hot with N you will be running into problems, be great for photos, not with autos though, that's why I prefer plant magics.

Yeh i flush for atleast a week with.N final flush have prevously even had to whack couple under shower 1 cos burnt 2nd to try get rid of fungi larva , it was ice cold water, prob didnt do anything good for them, learning curves.
Yeh imma just steer clear from calmag, epson & Dolomite fot time being.

But milk in the sun.....Think im gonna be sick lol

Aye it's got some funky aromas.

I've got no experience with using final flush? Is it any good? Have you done a comparison with and without?

I've read things of using ice cold water to flush 48hrs before harvest, and the extreme temperatures to roots supposedly shock the plant, and puts all its effort in last 48hrs into buds. Not sure if there's any truth to this though.

Very odd

Hmm havnt done side by side test but i do think it helps, what i do is feed it final flush as i do any other feed so till theres some run off, then following days if needs be plain water, but after sering tang say he puts 40l through a 15l pot im not sure what to think.
Jorge Cervantes ganja bible says its a must for those not using organics and even people that do do organic should use it and just feed like normal amounts for atleast 3 days he recommends 2 weeks though.

Yeh i heard cold temps etc end of flower makes your plant more purple, crazy what temp fluctuatations can do hey

I'll sometimes do a flush mid grow, when changing to bloom nutes, so if using a 15L pot will flush 45L through in the bath, to get rid of salt build up etc in roots. Sometimes I do this, sometimes I don't, depends if I can be arsed lol.

Before I ran my lights 24/0, my temps used to drop about 12 degrees in the dark period, used to get some lovely golden/purple Autumn colours near end of flower, kinda makes me want to run 20/4 for a bit, just for the colouring.

Sometimes I think things can be over complicated with growing cannabis. I always remember, it's a weed, they are quite a hardy plant, there's no final flush in the wild! If you have some decent light, some good base nutes, you'll grow some decent plants. Just get the environment dialled in and you should be able to do most growing problem free. Overwatering is probably the biggest problem with growers. Canna really doesn't like it.

lol yeh, i had been thinking need to get couple 20l water cans but then again like it all depends, think i will do the 40l flush on switching since i havnt before, dont think im gonna do the same at the end just gonna feed final flush as i would usually feed, last grow i soaked me lady with like a good half a bath worth to help remove fungi larva but in doing so prob ruined my baby, so your right over watering and not staying on top of what ones feeding only leeds to problems.

Yeh too right tip of 1 of my leafs on seedling looks crinkled burnt or dry various reasons could be but i think its me being careless, seedling was under fan last night with no light major hiccuwas leading to what i think is tip abortion, splashed som water placed incubator lid on her boom bang half hout later looking better already, had oh no is it the end of baby 3 but no as you say pretty hardy plants and as long as youve got some common sense you'll be able to jump each hurdle hey

Yeh would make some awesome purple eye candy

And think fruits of wild get rain water, then we wash them or water cure them soooo wild stuff does get big boy flushes

Hey,

Right it's been quite a while since I've updated this, work and life in general seems to get in the way. So I
All plants from last update have now been harvested, with the exception of the cash crop which is currently on day 50.

I also have a Fast Buds six shooter, which germinated, but spent the first 20 days or so as a mutant, was gonna cut it, but had in a 1 litre pot so wasn't taking much room at all, it's turned into something which looks like it's going to have 4 main colas. So will be interesting, potted into 10L pot earlier on.

The WW/mazar was harvested about 3 weeks ago, both yielded over two ounces dry per plant.

This is pre harvest WW, can't seem to find any pictures of mazar, nugs as hard as golf balls.

And got a second mazar currently in day 12, started in 1 litre pot and transplanted to 15L this morning, given light feed of base nutes with voodoo juice.

I've now flowered 3 plants under the cree cxb3590. I really am surprised with these lights, the density of flowers is unbelievable, since changing my yields have really increased, due to the sheer weight in each bud now. They're running at 100w each, really took a while to get a feel for them, as kept burning plants, even when lights over 12inches away. With them being the 72v they really are powerful lights these. Would definitely recommend them.

If you want dense nugs, go for 3000k spectrum. You won't disappointed.

Marty.

marty - they look amazing. nice work guv.

marty - just had a joyous romp through all of these. mate, you are growing some beautiful bud, bro. hats off to you. thank you for sharing your pics and your knowledge.

how's your auto brooklyn sunrise going? i did a bit outdoor in the summer. only got something paltry off it but it was beautiful. loved it. want to do it again but indoor this time and get some proper weight off it rather than the 7g dry per plant I got!

- funny you mentioned (on i think it was the auto extreme but could be wrong) that milk left out in the sun smell. that's a perfect description of some gear my bro grew. it was freedom seeds midnight express and he sent me some. It was that exact sour milk smell. It was like when people used to go to spain in the 80's and bring back loads of shit leather stuff cos it was cheap, it always had that sour milky smell!

take it easy and thanks again for sharing.
