The only thing to change about that thread's info really would be your medium really, just depends on what you have. But I always remember this thread as a really good starting point.

That second one looks more like it, but I can't be sure. Definitely not the first one, because they have 3w LEDs, not 1w like the first link.

Thanks for your concern. Feel free to read through. You'll learn a lot of what not to do and what to do and seeing how many issues I had as well as getting a look see at me as a member. I try to be a helpful and positive guy. I'm still learning myself, but I can help a lot with basics.

yep i think im just gonna buy the original one from ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-STA...LIGHTHOUSE-HYDRO-USA-/140774537199#vi-content

but the one's from china are soo much cheaper, they work out to be £130 compared to £250 so i dunno
can't go wrong with the originals i suppose so mite fork out the extra bit - it would be intriguing to see if the chinese one's worked tho - sucha a good price lol

And yeah you're wasting your time IMO buying from China. Nothing against those guys, they brought us toilet paper, but their Blackstars are below par from what I have learned. Go straight Ebay and Blackstar.

ur welcome dude! and yep maybe wen i got some experience i'll experiment but right now i want my first grow to be special

so the 240w led's should be fine for 1 or 2 plants in my size grow tent? also are there any grow diaries for led lamps used on non auto traditional strains? would love to see how they turn out too

Yes the 24o Blackstar is great for two plants. I don't know of any non Auto grows with it though, sorry mate.
