I'm thinking of building a wooden wardrobe in my bedroom to cover the boiler thats in there, so I thort why not build a grow room

im working with a space of 85x150x180 and want a grow tent to fit flush inside plus some space left over.

Once I've got sum funds in place im hoping to post up a full diary on here for any one interested in building there own wardrobe/growroom.

This is my first ever grow (and building project) soo all help is appericated.

Yo. Welcome to the site man! You'll love it here. Two feet isn't very wide, but you could do it. There have been smaller grow spaces. I'm looking to grow just one or two plants but if im honest after reading seymours Think Different grow, i mite just do one, plus its my first time ever so will be easier to maintain i hope.

Im looking to use only a 300w led light from seed to finish - would this work?

Alright, immediate brownie points to you because of the UFC watching! Wish I could still afford satellite and the fights every month. Awesome stuff. Anyway...

300 watts of LED is great. But what kind of LED is it?

If this is your very first time growing I really wouldn't recommend hydro. I know that's no what you want to hear, but for new guys it's hard enough sometimes to get soil or soil-less going(myself included) let alone hydro. Seymour is a seasoned grower and it shows, you see it, you can't miss it.

I wish you the best of luck my friend and I hope it all works out whichever way you choose. But with Autos you have a pretty short seed to weed time, so you could start in soil and learn from there. But this is just my opinion. I am still a newer grower, but I've been around long enough to know how it goes.

Who's fighting? I haven't kept up in a while sadly.

Badass about the fight and free-ness in the UK! Never seen that light before so I don't know much about it and can't really tell as I am no LED guy, I just know the ones that do work from growers here. Not to say that one won't work though.

What strain do u recommend for a first time grow in the auto range? im looking for high yield too as i'm only gonna do one plant.

If you haven't bought it yet, you should check out the Blackstar LEDs. They are 240 watts about the same price and we know they work. With that being said, go for it and let us know how well it works, man.

I now MI5 and Onyx are pretty beginner friendly.

Do you have a full ventilation setup including a carbon filter for the smell?

Yep carbon filters are part of the plan sir, can you recomend a good one? - I havent started the project at all mate, the first step is too build a wardrobe from scratch in my bedroom. I'll have to post some pictures when i get started so you can see what i mean.

Im reading through killijin's newbie tools forum for some tips too but all help is appreciated. Like i said i hope to do a full diary on here of me building the space and of my first grow - it's soo awesome to have a step by step guide like this where i can ask questions lol theres way too much too figure out!
