Grow Mediums Think different

Last week of NUTES for this one as I see some trichs turning milky so I'm thinking start the flush from next week.
Any advice from think different growers DP peeps?

I wouldn't flush yet.
Those plants look like they've got plenty of life left in them.

You will definitely see problems running at a PH of 6.0. Once they start showing obvious flowers 6.0 is ok.
Pre flower I always start with a PH of 5.5 and let it drift up to 6, no higher or I see problems. Once I can see a good amount of flower production I usually let it hover around 6.0.
Ill try and find a chart that explains why.
The key to your problems was in an earlier post when you stated that the PH dropped. What you have is a deficiency not nute burn. Up your EC until your PH settles, ideally you want it rising slightly. Once it does you know your at the optimum level for that stage of growth.
Just for reference im currently scrogging 4 autos. Week 3 they were ready to go into my wilma 4 and took an EC of 1.2, week 4 they took an EC of 1.5 and they are currently in week 5 and are taking and EC of 1.8.
They are drinking about 5 litres a day and EC is dropping 0.4 in that time.
Autos are hungry!

I know your past that stage now but the info might come in handy for your next grow:toke:

Thanks jazzy will keep it in mind.

Yeah definitely don't flush yet, she's gonna swell up some more! Wait till her leaves yellow up a bit but keeping a close eye on your trichs will help too. Sorry about that deficiency there. The same exact thing happened to my last round and I couldn't figure out what went wrong. Turned out my ph was screwed up.. Gl with the rest of her man! I'll be checking her out till the end!:slap:

Thanks vick
Well I have put her back on bloom NUTES and overdrive .
She is drinking and I have seen new pistils coming out of buds .
It's has been a big learning experience with hydro .
Next grow will only be 2 plants .

What week are you on? you plants look like mine did 3 weeks ago, they deffinitly have some life left in them and some swelling to do. Whats your EC at too? i think i had mine at about an EC of 1.4 (ppm 1000) when mine was at your stage.

Also make sure you're using your nutes to the guided ratios, for the General Hydroponics flora series I found using the micro and bloom at a 1:2 ratio worked perfectly for the my TD (I suspect other brands of nutes wont be too different).

Good luck man, those plants sure have potential. :smoke:
