New Grower THINK DIFFERENT GROW

You know I often tell people that environment makes a difference and I keep my lights going 24-0 to keep my environment stable.
But honestly, I forget all the difficulties I had and how much they all went away as I got my environment dialed in. So I'm not surprised that you get taller nodes with greater differentiations in temperatures.

I see some cloudy trichomes and some Amber. Be aware, that on the leafy parts of the buds you'll see the trichomes turn first. Then a lot of guys get in there and trim every little tiny Leaf off so they're stuck with a bud that is mostly clear or just a little bit cloudy. So you have to try and look at the part of the bud that you imagine yourself not trimming away and still keeping for smoke.

I personally like to trim long and leave the leafy bits on the bud until right before I smoke it, then I'll trim off those leafy bits if I feel I need to get the most potent smoke. I think all those leafy bits protect the trichomes underneath. I can buy weed in a state store but most of it has been trimmed so tight and handled so much there's no trichomes left anywhere on the exterior of the bud. They look great but the they sold all of leafy bits to the processors. Then what's left gets handled so much that it's often not very good.

You can delete your own posts for quite a while on this website if you'd like to get rid of those.

Another reason im trying to finish them at the same time is so i can do 1 big trim session, and want to cut buds off stem and dry in a rack in the tent.

I heard cutting buds off stem allows them to puff out abit and look better,is that true?
