Dutch Passion Think Diff, Cindy Jack: Tangs easy sched, autopots, autocobs

The plant was getting pretty dense and bushy and with higher humidity I was getting a bit worried about mold. LST seemed like a great way to open the canopy up and get some light and air in there. I was tying down some lower branches and they seemed nice and soft and flexible. After tying down I looked at them all and 3 branches had almost but not quite snapped off. They didnt break at first though. It look a few minutes for them to break.

I used duct tape and hopefully not too much permanent damage to any future kola stems. I used an optic foliar and nitrozyme spray to help it cope with the stress. And I'm hoping the stress itself will maybe reduce how much she stretches but also results in nice knuckles to support some large bud. I'll have a look at the break points in a weeks time and see how they healed up.

Note to self: Take is really, really easy when tying down branches. Only bend them a little bit at a time. Maybe tie them down gradually over a few days.

I lost one kola stem so far. Amputated it once I knew it was f'd.

Also switched my res to PH 5.5 water only for a few days. I might have too much nutes with the EWC on top of the simple Tangs AN schedule. Foliar spray Epsom salt and some Optic Foliar mix too. She is looking pretty healthy still. Lush. Waiting for some sort of stretch but she might not after the stress from busted stems, which would be fine by me. Just don't want her to take to long to finish though.

Day 34. Seems to have slowed down from the LST mishap but not too bad considering.
She is 18 inches tall. Not sure what kind of stretch there will be. Maybe not much or maybe its still to come.

I have no experience with autopots, Rambo is the expert, but on the pics it looks like venes have a dark green and the rest of the leaves a lighter amd it should be the opposite, sure ph is correct? looks like some nutes lock out, hm.

I sure hope its not PH because I bought in to the Advanced Nutrient PH PERFECT nutes. AN says as long as your tap water is between something like 4 and 8 then you don't have to PH your water. My tap water is 7.1. So I don't check PH after I add my nutes anymore. I do have an accurate 8 PH probe to check the substrate/medium which I'll have a look at later today.

And I have two Mephisto Skywalkers going that are the same everything as the Think Different and they are great looking green girls at day 34. I wish I knew why things can be so different when everything is pretty much the same.
