So guys i will soon have a mars-hydro 300 old model to go in the cupboard that will hopefully sort my temps out/give better light intensity for flowering and give me hours/days/weeks of fun to design a veg box(that will run cool) for the cfl to go in, also letting me have continuous grows.
so the script once again gets ripped up, going to be in that Led section now soaking up what i can, i know about the cal/mag issues already and have that on order anyways. might try and persevere with the temps for another couple of weeks unless it gets really bad or hell just put it straight in, lol i hope it is cooler she will kill me if its not.

Easy as cake....(with an extra side of CaMg) ;)

cal/mag ordered. well i ordered weeks ago they just never delivered, on its way again.

Well the Mars-hydro, it arrived this morning, first impression~ its well built, heavier than i expected and i wish it has anchor points for hanging in a different place, it’s going to use to much height with the one supplied but hell can’t expect everything for the price it was. Walking about in a green haze i need to stop looking at it :).
well until the cal/mag comes its going back in its box apart from a play about, the girls look healthy so unless i get above 90 will leave it a while before swapping over.

Been reading the threads as to what height to set it when i do use it, 15-20 inches seems average for veg and 8-12 inches for bloom, some even closer for the last weeks, bleaching seems to be an occasional problem when lights too close, i will play it safe and take the highest settings to begin with when i do use it and monitor closely.

Going to play about with it with some light diffuser sheets i have from an old led telly, just to squash my curiosity in the meantime.
Picture update later.

Day 11,19/3

They seem to be doing great , just been watering with 2ml to a liter root juice, about 500ml for the 6 ltr pots and 250 for the 3ltr ones about every two days, the only thing i am worried about is are they stretching enough inter-nodal spacing? i do want to keep them short so unless anyone pipes in i wont change things.

The next couple of days plan on giving same amounts of water and then a water to run of at day 14.

Looking good Hairy,lovely.
And youve scored for a Mars Hydro led too, youre doing well.
I dont use the wire hangers that come with led lights, coz theyre always too long for tight places.
I use some rubberised garden wire,criss-crossed tightly between between the hanging posts and then hang from yoyo ratchet.Should give you more hieght if needed.
The garden wire is very handy stuff in a grow tent.

Cheers Pal,

They do look good don't they, lol famous last words, pleased with the led but gives a whole new set of worries but ill'e keep reading and wait for the cal/mag till i introduce it.
Thanks for the heads up on how to hang it without using the one supplied, i been trying to get my head around that since i saw how low it hanged, i had come up with making one with those cable ties, but your idea seems simpler.

Thanks

They look great, hairy! Keep up the good work, Bro :) :Sharing One:

Thanks for stopping by pal,
i am well pleased with them and just as pleased that you think they look great :grat:
